My biggest gripe about Ultimate Team lately has been how "Uniform" teams appear. During the Zero Chill Promo everygame top 3 was CJ/Mariota/Suggs, now more recently there are "more" options as the NFL Playoffs and Super Bowl Promo have multiple top tier cards that you can typically only get 1 or 2 of (exception being the rich) so not every team is the same but still pretty similar.  Wouldn't it be great to just have MORE options? Meaning when a Promo comes out (For example the Zero Chill) there could be at the minimum 5 different choices (even if they are all the same position) for the Master Set. Even if the 5 cards have extremely similar stats just having 5 different options make the game more fun (even if the set returns 1 of the masters at random) For Example the Zero Chill Promo gave 96 Calvin Johnson. Maybe it could of offered 96 Calvin Johnson/96 Julio Jones/96 Demaryius Thomas/96 Antonio Brown/ 96 T.Y. Hilton (All these players were Receiving Yards Leaders at some Point in a Season in the past 5 seasons) With each offering slightly varied stats and different Chemistries.

You are not missing anything. There are two options for getting his Tier 3. First is using his Auctionable/Tradeable 86 OVR Core Elite while the second option uses his NOT-Auctionable/Tradeable 86 OVR Core Elite. Either way you can only do one set and both lead you to have the exact same card.
