You're lacking the most basic logic. "If EA is dropping the ball it is on EA, not the guys continuing to support it in hopes that it gets better or who are ok with playing despite the flaws." Well, EA is not "dropping the ball" they make more money every year, and they got to the point where game sales revenues literally does not matter. The game is a fraction of their revenues, so it's only logical that they spend a fraction of their resources in it. It's basic business. So yes, it's absolutely the guys continuing to not only support them but drop ridiculous amounts of money that are dropping the ball. People conveniently put the blame on corporations. And while, yes, EA is undeniably some greedy, borderline evil group of individuals, they are enabled by the consumers, but it's better to blame EA than to take a look in a mirror, I understand that. Do you remember what happened when EA tried to put micro transaction and lootboxes based progression in Battlefront ? Consumers rose against it and it got modified drastically.

I'm new to MUT but have seen my share of MMOs including free to play and damn. You people are really something else. You're so far gone it's hilarious, spending hundreds of dollars in one sitting just because it's "good value". (but the rest of the paying options are this bad because you'd buy any garbage EA puts in front of you.) I assume most of you are above 4 figures per year in MUT. Sports game are really the cancer of the video game industry, I can't even. You're literally paying to rent your players for a year and nobody thinks it's wrong, any other genre gets destroyed if they introduce pay to win aspects but not only do you not care, you throw salaries at it and can't see the long term repercussion of these business models. The only thing I'd say, is that I better not see any of you money throwing baboons complain about the gameplay, ever. Because it's you guys that have made the actual game a fraction of EA's revenue and put the gambling from packs in the forefront. So don't complain when you get sub par gameplay because it's a fraction of their interest. (people say this game gets worst every year but drop more money every year, logic.)

Well, like I said, it's undeniable that people who spend a lot of money in MUT are literally the ones that ruin the game. (both the general game and MUT) Yes, it's your choice, but it absolutely impacts other people. Put yourself in EA's shoes for a second,t hey have whales like you that pay thousands of dollars every year to buy the same virtual team again and again. Would you work on the game or work on ways to have people like you spend more money ? I am all for people that don't have the time to grind all day to have other alternatives to enjoy the game. But like everything else, it's about nuance. So yes, people are entitled to their opinion and how they spend their time/money. But stop thinking that your choices and your money doesn't have an effect on the game and on others.

@ killiqanisland >> Sports game gameplay is bad right now, it's not just madden, and it's a fact. It's not as awful as some people try to make it, but clearly, it's bad. That doesn't mean people don't enjoy it to an extent, me included, I hadn't played a Madden in years before this one, so if there was no enjoyment I would leave right away. But it's a fact that it's bad and it's a fact that it's bad because of lootboxes. FIFA, Madden, NBA 2K look at the golden age for FIFA and 2K (don't know about Madden, I wasn't playing at that time) the best games from the early days of the 7th gens consoles were some of the best of all time. FIFA 08 to 13 were some of the best football games of all time. Same for NBA 2K in the same period.

Quote from killiqanisland >> So buying the game and not spending any money in MUT will teach them a lesson? Why not just not buy it at all? Half the community hates the game, half doesn’t. Same as last year. At the end of the day not everyone is gonna love the game and those who do enjoy it aren’t gonna just not play because some don’t. I enjoy it for what it’s worth, it isn’t perfect but at the end of the day they could give me a perfect game and guys are still gonna run the same offenses and defenses as each other. YouTube blitzes and offenses

What people need to understand is that it's not about if and how much money you're "allowed" to spend. Just know this simple fact, if you're a whale that puts thousands of $ in a game that releases yearly, you're the problem, literally. (if you spend more than the price of this game actually, but obviously, it's proportional.) People are complaining about the gameplay but the fact is, sports game (because it's not just Madden) are not about the game anymore, it's 100% about the lootboxes. So if you want to put your salary into MUT, more power to you, but if you do this, you better not say anything about the gameplay because people like you are the reason the gameplay is bad. People like you are the reason games release with day 1 paying DLC and half finished gameplay. EA or 2K doesn't even need the money from selling copies anymore, MUT on it's own is generating the entirety of revenues. Those 60$ to buy the game is just a bonus.

Gilmore has more speed than Hayward, so there's that. Also I don't like to QS NAT cards as they go for half value, might as well use it in a set to make an 88 and QS it if needed. I'd keep both and use Bouye in a set.

I am looking for a full legend Sean Taylor. (I might use my 91 power up pass to make Sean Taylor so I'm open to other propositions also.)

Personally I just put Jalen and Jacoby podcast and grind for the lenght of it. That's a session of an hour where I get to laugh my ass off listening to them talk about sports and then afterward I get the rewards from the solos.
