Promos like team diamonds held alot of weight because it made it easier for theme teams to get ahold of solid cards in smaller, easier to complete sets. The journey or gauntlet made it to where you could get a good amount of coins as well as a pick from a selection of good cards when you finished it, not just one. Then you get into the fact that the uniform, stadium, and coach chems are NOTHING like last years in where you could and extra team Exclusive chemistry to boost players further. Now the coach chems give more base offense or defense chemistrys that, I believe, are boring. The uniform and stadium chemistry AREN'T EVEN THERE THIS YEAR. I'm not one to spend money shredding through packs in the hopes of getting the best cards, as many people who play the game aren't inclined to gamble on fake cards that aren't worth anything in a year. I want to play the game and feel like I'm progressing with my team instead of paying 500 dollars for packs to achieve a 95 overall team.
