Turned down Rising Stars Beathard, thinking I'd surely get something better.......   Now I have a stacked D, a stacked receiving core and a QB that can't throw the ball far enough for them to get open.   Gonna get to 15 and give up.

Has happened to me before. They won't fix it. You'll have to wait for the next tournament.   If you complain to EA, they might give you a Rookie Pack :lol:

Having the exact same problem right now. This game's really starting to **** me off.

I'm very interested to hear if anyone has. I haven't trained him yet, since even untrained he's a monster, but with training, he looks like he could potentially be an even better power back than Bo Jackson. At 98 ovr, he has 98 speed, 97 accel (which can be boosted to 99 with Turkey Sanders), 99 carry and while the game doesn't say what his truck and stiff arm stats are when trained, he has 93 truck and 92 stf untrained, so I imagine they'll both be in triple figures.   While his strength and agility aren't as good as Bo, Bo only has 86 stf, 83 spm and 89 jkm. At 98 ovr, Blount will probably have 100 or 101 stf, 93 or 94 spm and 94 or 95 jkm   Blount's also 23 pounds heavier and for some reason, I find that fatties tend to truck more consistently and are more likely to pick up an extra couple of yards when they're tackled instead of getting pushed backwards like lighter players. I think Madden's "physics" gives the fatties more momentum.

He looks nice. I think I prefer Superbowl Legarrette Blount. He's the same overall, but he's faster, has better acceleration, better carry and better trucking and stiffarm. His agility is worse, but he has better spin and juke moves. Catching's pretty garbage, but usually you only throw to a hb if no one else is open and even Derrick Henry catches more than 90% of his passes when he's unmarked.   Plus, Blount's 250 pounds and I don't know how much difference weight makes, but to me, fatties like Blount and Henry always seem to break tackles more consistently and tend to get manhandled in the tackle less than lightweights.   He also has much better tackle and block shed stats, which is good for kickoffs and also good if you're s*** at this game and keep throwing picks or if you're a Jay Cutler fan :)

I did it with 89 off and 88 def. It's not that difficult. As everyone says, just 3-4 pinch and have a damn fast LOLB to user.   I used TOTW Nick Vigil, who is an absolute monster when usered properly. Maxes out at 94 spd, 96 acc without boosts, and can be bought and upgraded cheaply. I pretty much leave him on the bench and put him in my team for live events/season mode, since he's built for this sort of thing.
