It sucks that to max your OVR by the end of the season, everyone had to fill their roster with Boss and SB players. I have 13 Boss and 5 SB players and easily could have more. I replaced every player under 120 OVR with one and could have them all by now if I wanted.   I got rid of cards from all these different promos that required a lot of grinding and that had way better and varied card art just to get those extra few overall at that position. EA should try to make the top cards from each promo stay competitive throughout the season somehow, like increasing their training level cap over time.   Meanwhile, someone easily could have started a new account at the beginning of the summer, got the same players and have 22 120 OVRs and 2 115 OVRs from these promos alone while being F2P. If they just fill the final 6 spots out with Legends or some other cheap Season Review elites, they could have a 115 OVR team by now before bonuses with many of the same players as me. There will be people who played this game for two months whose legacy teams will be nearly identical to those of people who played it all year.

I got him from a blast pack and wish I had an obvious space for him since he’d be a cool end of season guy to have, but my secondary is already pretty full and leveled up, so all I’d get with the guy he replaces is three Boss emblems . My current secondary guys are below. You seem fun. I’m never replacing a few guys that are favorites of mine and sort of souvenirs of past big promos.

Lol at people whining about having to go a whole 7 days without a promo. I think they wanted to give people a week to finish any of the old sets, and considering they made a lot of changes it isn’t surprising they didn’t have time to implement that and do a promo too.   It’s actually nice not having to grind and being able to “catch you breath”. Just play some H2H and focus on finishing off any of the old sets. You can start hoarding TP too since these sets are amazing for that. 8 collectibles gets you a 250,000 TP Playoff Hero. It actually makes maxing out my old style players I hang onto realistic.

I would’ve thought the set clock wouldn’t run differently than every previous promo as well, but it did. Whatever, I’ll move on. Just mad because I wasted probably 1000 MC in pennants and needed another day’s worth of live events for a 120. That will be the last time I give EA a dime of real money on a promo.

I never even clicked on those events once I finished them. You had no reason to, they weren’t even spammable. Anyone defending EA on this is nuts IMO.

Can’t say I ever thought about when previous promos ended when the in-game clocks were saying otherwise. Since when have they keep the sets open one day longer? Not the case in previous promos, where I was a week or ended along with them.
