He was an edge rusher. To call him either is a misnomer in the traditional usage, because the patriots started the whole movement toward mixed defenses and one man down 5 more just standing about the line so you don't know where the rush is coming from. Just like Mack could be considered a OLB or a end on any given year really, depending on what scheme his team is running.

The value of anything is always going to be what people are willing to pay for it. If people think a card will give them an edge in h2h early on, the extra coins they spend on getting it now more then pays for itself if they play enough. And I am sure he's disgusting if anyone is crazy enough to run a falcons 50/50 at his point. The price of the card seems just right to me this early in its existence.

No, they will pretend like it was never a thing and just move on to the next screw up. This is EA we are talking about here, and while I think they get a lot of misdirected criticism that they never own their mistakes is spot on. Integrity is not their strong suit, unfortunately.

As someone who actually watched the game... and yes, it was torture, the kids got an arm and all the moves you want in a modern qb. There were a lot of key drops. Did he play spectacular? No. Does he look like he has spectacular in him? Yeah, I would say so. Will he be the better of the two ex jet qbs tearing up the league in five years, more then likely!

If they are using the play that rolls out after the PA, just have a play where the end contains on the side they are rolling into and they will roll right into him or be out of sorts for a second as they try and reverse course.

This would make no sense the way its worded, but you might be right. None of the customer service reps I have spoken too ( I talk to a new one every day) have said this was the case, but I get the sense that they don't know which way is up when it comes to a lot of this. Nice folks, they are just being fed the same bs line we all get. "We are working on it, thanks for your patience." Unfortunately my patience is running out with said response.

I'm pretty sure you have to win, but you don't need the conversions to be successful. At least that's what I was told by someone who definitely knows. So let them score, score back miss the two point conversion or get it, let them score again...come back, go for two, then shout out "Here comes the warm jets!". And if you can tell early you are about to get trounced, let them get their two pointers and move on yourself.

I mean, does "Hi, our game was broken and you benefitted from our mistake. Now you are banned" sound right to you? We all look for ways to make lots of coins, these guys just hit the jackpot. Its not like they screwed over a player or something, even if they might have inadvertently screwed us all. Its on EA to make it right, even if I have no idea how they could in a reasonable way.

I'm not going to disagree with any of your assessments because your points and mine can both be true. When I started playing in December, the game looked great. I read some complaints about ED running all over everyone but content wise it looked really cool. Every previous year I have done this content was at least decent and steady well into may. While there was some post season highlights, particularly around theme teams, this year it felt like I wasted my time and effort trying to get into it at that point. So I asked what happened, hoping at some point they would try an offer an explanation through one of their multiple platforms, even if it was as simple as "hey we did this this way because we thought it was better for x" or "people were complaining about too many cards with unrealistic stats so we decided to let the big dogs be big dogs the entire year this year". Instead disappointingly, its been crickets, leaving me and likely many others to feel like they think "we got these guys addicted, we can do what we want", to tie into something you said. While I get that this site has a lot of vitriol, and I'm sure it can get tiresome to read, that just comes with online gaming. If you look at every other majorly successful platform they have in house run forums full of the same nonsense, but they don't take nearly as long to acknowledge actual issues and they are always putting the customer first. You don't have to dig deep into why its so different everywhere else either, everyone else has to fight for their customers. Madden just rides the coattails of the popularity of the NFL and it doesn't matter if the game is good or bad. It's rather sad that that's what it has come down to, too, because once upon a time Madden and Joe Montana Football actually helped boost the popularity of the NFL. Now they are a small but growing stain on the reputation of the League.
