I wouldn't imagine them ever taking it out but it is an interesting though if they were to go in the direction of a game like Hearthstone (a collectible digital card game kinda like magic) where there's no trading or AH and instead every card has a fixed "dust" rate where you can discard the card and get a certain amount of dust and craft other ones with that dust.

If you have a wired xbox one or 360 controller you should just be able to plug it in and It'll work. A PS4 controller would also work, but you'd need to download like 1 piece of software. You can also get a wireless adapter for wireless xbox controllers and just hook that up fairly simply.
