It all comes down to the HRM. They’re very comparable QBs but the dual archetypes makes a GT QB a must for me now that I’ve used one. Haven’t used Vick bc of the negative reviews but used RG3 and I’ve enjoyed Allen’s release and accuracy more. If you have the coins and want the archetypes Allen is certainly better than Pat.

I know they fixed it somewhat but it still works where if you let go of turbo right before you throw it counts as standing outside of the pocket and roaming will activate on pretty much any throw, meaning it can combine dashing and no-look into one ability.

I have used Allen with only west coast and sprinter and escape artist, HRM, gunslinger and roaming deadeye as my abilities. I’ve switched between protected and gunslinger and just found that protected wasn’t boosting my blocking as much as gunslinger was boosting my throws. I have used just about all the 99 QBs and he is my favorite by far. A smooth release and very accurate if you know how to use roaming deadeye properly. He has been the best about not fumbling, both during sacks and when I try to fight for extra yards. If money isn’t an issue and your gameplay truly takes advantage of escape artist and HRM I would definitely recommend him.

I stand corrected. Undercuts brought him down to 6 mil for a bit and now he’s back up so I’ll try and get him off now.

Update: His price has absolutely plummeted and thanks to my time spent breaking the game with rerolls I don’t have any immediate team needs so I’m going to try him out for the weekend. I’ll let everyone know how it goes. Normally I run 2 WR abilities but I might evolve into the stretch and dive monster I’ve always sought to destroy.
