Sad to say, but I also went the throw the money at them route. My plan is always spend generously early while everything has value. I'm in about 800, Barry finished and I kept all of the diamonds. Last night when the new promo dropped I bought the big bundle, got Lamar and Honey Badger and liquidated Roddy White, Dana Hall, Warrick Dunn, Sanders, and Samuels all at very inflated prices. I figured people had extra coin on hand if they ripped and liquidated. I'm sitting at around 2mm with a stacked squad and HOPING not to buy anything again until MF. I did end up paying the stupid price for the Buc's gold (I refuse to say his name out of anger) in the Barry chase - like 30k... so, there are some land mines out there for sure. I'd do Bucs, Broncos, and Eagles last if you're working on a budget. Ravens, Jags, and Dolphins were pretty easy.

Mystery solved, They maintain the quick sell amount when you power them down.   so far I've bought Ramsey JJ Watt Clowney Limited Morten Anderson   I'm trying to pay between 50k-100k over the quick sell value - I see it as a typical hedge.  I can get the top players in the game right now, and if they rise in price, awesome, if not I'm at least limiting the deflation and I don't have to worry about Jalen tanking overnight because they released Deion.     Just a different perspective, may end up losing more than I would have normally, but eh... thought provoking at least.

Yeah, that's kind of my thought - Amari Cooper is an 82 w/ a power-up, so he may be who I target for testing - losing 60k is far better than 400k.

Debating the same - seems like the smart move is to hold, but who knows if they drop a bundle w/ 12 75+ rookie premier players (like the HOF packs or last years baby goats). I'll probably hold, cause - they will be in some demand, just not holding my breath.

Hey guys,   I'm doing a different strategy in MUT this year, trying to drop cash early and hedge bets against the market.  I'm largely doing this with the 88/89 Core elites that have the insane quick sell amounts 470k, 330k or something close to that.   But i'm curious if the game will give me back the correct one if I upgrade, and then downgrade at a later time.   ie - 89 Coin-up Jalen Ramsey upgrade so that he'll hit 90, and get his chems - if I then downgrade him, will I get back the coin-up version that I started w/ or just a base elite?   Thanks in advance!

1) 39 2) Principal Systems Engineer / Director 3) 96 4) Best guess would be around 2k 5) 95 - The expansion year of J'ville and Carolina and every year since. 6) B to B+ - never really got into running 'the meta' - just do my own thing. 7) I'm pretty social - have around 10-15 people that the wife and I regularly hang out with.  During the week I often work 50+ hours so afterwards I use Madden and NBA2k to escape a bit.  Own my own home - outright.  No kids and my wife also has a great job.  All in all - life is pretty solid.  (oh, and 2 dogs that drive me nuts.)
