1.they actually DONT know how to run the routes in the route tree. 2. they actually DONT know how to block. 3. they actually DONT understand why you have to run the routes as they are called. 4. they actually DONT  understand how to setup run plays using formations other than shotgun and heavy. 5. they actually can't fathom BLOCKING for the ball carrier on offense based on THE ACTUAL PLAY. 6. they actually don't understand that cover zero is not going to stop a fucking deep post pattern. 7. they actually DONT understand the sport of football at all. this game has been made "bum friendly" because if you make it so EVERYBODY has a chance to win regardless of strategy or skill: then scrubs can buy cards and depend on the flukey/non-football aspect of madden to give them a chance regardless of completely idiotic strategy and moronic play calling. I know: "get better teammates," but everyone doesn't base their madden schedule on my time.

I really hate the staff at ea and I see them as lames that have corrupted a dope franchise with fuckery and bullshit. I am hoping for a decent non-nfl football game at this point: I would actually play a game with fake jerseys and fake players, its gotta be better than playing a fake game with "official nfl players"

just played 2 games of salary cap and my vinniateri "focus kicker" was faster than a kicker with a 82 rating. wtf? I missed every extra point and field goal attempt. I literally lost two games because of this nonsense. are the traits turned off on salary cap mode??? otherwise: more reasons this franchise needs to get its ass whipped.

As I play this horrible game for lack of ANY other options to play a football video game, I wonder if I am missing something... In all the years I played football from pee wee to high school: the quality of the offensive and defensive lines were always central to the outcome of the game. the game is won and lost in the trenches. being able to effectively rush the passer without a blitz makes coverage much easier. being able to give the qb 4 seconds in a shotgun formation makes routes easier to develop. being a mut player every 3 years, because ea is a money leech; I built a team with the best offensive and defensive lines I could. yet, the results are the same when I had a mediocre offensive and defensive line: the glitch of the game takes precedent over EVERYTHING. but, it wasn't this bad in 2013... it has gotten worse every year. of course we know its easy to learn the glitches and just manipulate them...

so, basically you cant throw if there is a defender within ten yards or the receiver will get touched and drop the ball.   yeah, thats JUST like the NFL. nobody can catch if there are defenders near.   also, taking spin move out is like taking the crossover out of a basketball game.   this is a non-football game.
