Post's and wham can be stopped rather easily. However, I do feel there needs to be a patch or something with the C-Routes. Pretty much anything you do to stop it doesn't work aside from user covering it. And let's be real, the cheese meta counter shouldn't be to have to user a player near the sideline all game. I played a guy yesterday in WL who did C-route on literally every play, and I do mean EVERY play. I finally got sick of it and converted a cover 4 into a cover 6 shell and usered the outside safety to jump his route. Got the INT and he quit. I've also found that doing a mable concept to the far side of the field (where the C-route cheese is most effective) can stop it sometimes, but then again that's not really practical as it leaves gaping holes on the short side where all the other receivers are. People say Tampa 2 is best to stop it but I just don't see it. It's pretty frustrating when you know its coming on like 3rd and 10 situations and you make all the adjustments that SHOULD stop it and it just gets blown open anyways. I feel like shading outside alone should stop it provided you have the correct depth coverage. Seems like shading outside or inside has no real effect in the game. Maybe next year they'll fix the C-Routes (Cheese Routes)???
