Decided to switch from a Legends theme team to a full 50/50 Steelers squad about two weeks ago. Great decision. So many options now. Stabler is awesome, but I’ll give Vick some run as well. Just want an updated Troy Polamalu & maybe a good LB in the Ring of Honor promo — Ryan Shazier would be ideal as a sub-LB. It’s a very fun squad right now. If anyone’s interested in the build, happy to share.

"Worth it" is more a question of your coin stack than the relative value of a MUT card. I'd say he's worth around 700K to me as a card that has a value floor of 350K, but I have stacked a ton of coins. As for your questions about the card itself -- Cro's size, jumping, and overall attributes (especially the high Agility & COD) mean he'll play damn well without Abilities, though of course limited as all non-Ability cards are. If you play a straight man scheme, I'd advise using 2 AP on Inside Shade so that he'll stick to the WR in very annoying fashion. Yes, you miss out on Pick Artist, but he'll likely stay closer to WRs and prevent more catches that way. Stacking a KO Ability is big in man schemes, with most guys running Deep Route KO if they run Cover 0 and Mid Route KO if they run a Cover 2 variant. The KO Abilities help trigger catch knock-outs even if your CB is beat by a specific route, so it is very helpful. Personally, I run primarily zone, so I have CB Calvin Johnson and CB Charles Woodson on the outside, both with Pick Artist and Deep Out Zone KO for 1 AP. I'm running Cromartie as my slot CB with free Pick Artist. He's amazing in that spot, as I use it to man up guys, blitz, or drop back in a Vertical Hook. In Dollar, I have NTL on the other side. Having two big CBs in the slot is helpful in a lot of ways.

I run zone, and I value Agility/COD on my sub-LBs, along with Hit Power and height. After the Ghost release, my plan is to run my Nickel/Dollar/Dime formations as follows: Deep FS -- 6'7" Julius Peppers -- Deep Out Zone KO, Pick Artist (1 AP total) Deep SS -- 6'7" Ted Hendricks -- Deep Out Zone KO, Tip Drill (2 AP total) Sub-LB 1 -- 6'2" Sean Taylor -- Pick Artist (1 AP) Sub-LB 2 -- 5'10" Troy Polamalu -- Acrobat & Pick Artist (3 AP total) Situational Sub-LB -- 6'3" Ray Nitschke -- Lurker (0 AP) In my view, this will really stop agg catching on the back end while giving me fast, big hitters in the middle. Troy P may be short, but Acrobat is wild, so I think this is ideal.

Good stuff, Von. Vick's Blitz card really surprised me with how well it played as a straight pocket passer. Accurate and capable.

Played the very first Madden ever, but my first MUT was Madden 18. Got it around Christmas 2017 because my then-8-year-old son was getting into football. Saw the MUT mode and got hooked into team building.

Myles Garrett. No spot on JCSteel’s squad.

Vick is very good. I sold him when he was pricy & I’m using the 94 Fitzpatrick, but that Vick is excellent.

Ertz with 1 AP Short In Elite and that Speed/Acceleration combo should be a lot of fun.
