You might be right that it doesnt work that way. He didnt specifically say it that way. He spoke of 1 player beating 1 player & if each player has roughly the same probability in an equal matchup 1 on 1 & if each is an independent trial then each player has that 15-20% chance & it would in fact be as i described. In any case, neither of us knows for certain of the exact probability outside of what individual experience or an ea developer tells is is true. Also, while im not sure that the probability of a dl being immediately in your face is quite as high as i implied, it is exactly a combination of each players probabilty added together that gives you the total probabilty of it happening by at least 1 of those players being immediately in your face.    Its no different than pack odds. If i have a 1 in 100 chance of pulling a specific thing & i buy 4 packs that doesnt increase my probability in each pack, but it does increase my probability overall. Thats what i was saying. When you have 4 dl each with a 15-20% chance then that does increase the overall chance that at least 1 will be in your face & it only takes one. I hope that clarifies what i was saying.

Oldenburg said in an interview about madden 19 that they revamped the blocking this year to more closely match real life tendencies. He used ware as an example, saying he only reached the qb on less than 15% of snaps. He also said dl wins slightly exceed that number between evenly matched dl vs ol interactions. So, by his description when facing an evenly matched dl that dl will be in your face pretty quick on 15-20% of plays. The problem i have with that description is when there are 4 down linemen each with a 15-20% chance of coming right at you...you can plan to get sacked on every play if you arent getting rid of the ball pretty quick. Im of course assuming overdrive is programmed same as 19.   He didnt really address my question unfortunately, but he answers quite a few "which attributes do what" type of questions on his twitter. Its just a pain to find those answers scrolling through all of his messages lol

It equates to manipulating a very simple stock market. Honestly im surprised it took this long to happen. When i read how the new ah worked my first thought was that with enough coin a system like that could be pretty easily manipulated. It seems there is going to be a way to exploit any system put in place. I played a game years ago i think called nfl matchups & you posted players as a proposed trade for other specific players instead of coins. I forget the specifics but that system was taken advantage of also.

timing is a little weird bc a league mate just pulled 90ovr von miller same day from a daily goals pack. He posted screen shot on slack so i know it was legit. Probably coincidence but odd timing since u would think these are super long shot pulls especially from free packs.

So glad this was brought up. Unfortunately, the fix has to come from a game adjustment or zoom being added bc when researching aspect ratio last season pretty much every tablet company has switched to apples aspect ratio. I shelled out $$$ last season on an old sony tablet that had the wider aspect ratio, but even that hasnt helped much this season bc it no longer conforms to all of the system requirements of overdrive leaving me with either invisable players or blacked out uniforms.

Im actually having trouble with it not counting passing yards at all toward his bonus on maybe 1 out of 4 or 5 completions. Its not always a deal breaker in making the yardage but it has been sometimes. Shame bc its the perfect captain player/bonus combo for me.
