Dear EA: this is why you don't get my money. I play the event and buy the coin pack but this is easily the worst program of MM18....and that's really saying something. I mean, this playoff program is the second worst program but you can at least get something with enough work.

I get that there's a sort of "+2" theme around legends, but when the stat is both highly specialized (requiring you to have several Legend players at these positions) and totally unnoticeable in gameplay, I feel like +2 is pretty cheap. +3, even +4 is warranted here. But what do I know, I don't make the megabucks like these interns at EA do.

Quit now before you get invested in it. That's my best advice. The dev team doesn't have time to polish things, so things are buggy or don't operate as advertised. No one at EA listens to the community The cash grab is the worst it's ever been. The All-Pro promo is literally just a pack you buy in the store. The best feature in the game, the Auction House, has been usurped by an EA-operated AI bot that no one asked for. It won't buy your cards. Don't bother trying. The stats are pretty much irrelevant this year: receivers with over 100 catch routinely drop passes when they're wide open, 99-speed runners get chased down from behind by 70-speed defensive linemen, and don't get me started on the blocking... Soft counters are hilariously powerful and utterly counter-intuitive. There's nothing you can do to stop one if it's higher than a Medium rating, and you can't do anything to predict it or avoid it. It's simply the game deciding on a loss of down for you. Oh was it 4th down? Well then you're screwed.

I'm here from the Mobile side of things, so I realize I'm just a tiny voice from a niche. That said... Everyone on the team for Madden Mobile deserves to be fired, especially anyone involved in "community" outreach. Vast, encompassing changes have been made to fundamental aspects about how the mobile game is played and EA has neither provided warning, information regarding, or apologies for these changes, most of which have been detrimental to gameplay. I'm referring specifically to erroneous bans, numerous bugs, incomprehensible gameplay, and most importantly, the utter destruction of the player-driven auction house. What do we get? Not a peep. But you bet your keister there's now random popups in the game offering hilariously overpriced bundle deals! Oh yes! We get those! So without any effort put forth by the development team to communicate with the players, listen to the players, or (Madden forbid) improve the game, you are left to judge the team by their (in)actions. What do those actions say? "We hate you. Everything you complain about.... we're going to make worse. Your favorite part of the game? We're gutting it. The features we added? Bait and switch. You're dumb. Give us your money. Thank you and have a nice day."

This is cute. I'll start with the biggest problem: EA's incommunicado policy: The complete lack of communication speaks loud an clear, EA doesn't care about it's mobile game "community". They make their money on whales, not FTP'ers. FTP'ers are leaches who contaminate their game, a small step above cheaters and hackers. Since we get zero communication from them, we are left to look at their actions. What do their actions say to us? "We only care about doing things that make us money, not doing things that make the game better. Profit first, second, and third....gameplay a distant fourth. Good Lord, if this isn't obvious to you, you're new here. There's no point to offering anything else to this thread. EA only cares about the one person in ten thousand who will literally spend thousands of dollars on the game. Everything else about the game is a filter to find those people and capitalize them effectively. EA doesn't care anyone else, so you're wasting your time.

I hated it. There was no strategy. Just chuck the ball up, run the ball. You won or lost based on whether or not a. the defense managed a pick on your chuck up or b. someone up front got blown up on the extra point. Neither of which you have any control over. So ya, no fun at all. Got my 15 with 20 tickets and I'm done.

Purely luck-based. Not fun. Got to tier 2 and stopped. There are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many better ideas for tournaments. I don't understand where these terrible, lazy formats come from.
