VIT, respect to your reply, but I think I may have been misunderstood. I was part of top 500's and top 250's last year, and I just didn't agree with how stringent they were. We DO have rulz that have led to success, but I wanted to create something where everybody's drives weren't under a microscope constantly. Any league can have their standards and methods of screening their apps, and I respect that. I just wanted to play the unsigned free agent card if you will, and give dedicated, grinding, daily active guys a shot at being part of something great without all the scrutiny. If I came across as bashing the cash rich top teams for their methods, I sincerely apologize. That's not my view at all. As I said, I wanted to create something where players could be given an opportunity to be a part of something great without the extra added pressure. Sure, its bit us in the ass a few times, and had to cut players that don't follow the rulz or become inactive, but so far its worked pretty well for us. Again, I apologize if I somehow came across as bashing on other leagues for their recruiting methods, that was not my intention at all. Every LVL matchup I start by addressing the commissioner, wishing them luck even in the face of a probable defeat for us, and offer respect literally in my greeting. We don't trash talk in lvl, just respect. Any league can screen however they want, and I do respect that. I apologize once more for the misunderstanding. To all respondents to my post, negative or not, respect+++. And for the record, I thought that I had said that this wasn't the only instance of madden screwing people over like this. the "contructive" criticism is well noted, absorbed, and i shoulda known better than to just into the playground sandbox with a bunch of trolls. no big, water off a ducks back. as for recruiting, why not. just my opinion. negative comments or not, respect+++
