Zan always suggests the dagger concept against cover 2 (a streak and a deep in). In general you want to run off the hook zones because it's tough to cover vertical levels over the middle of the field. It's also difficult to cover levels on the outside, but you can with a hard flat and cloud flat. Lots of people won't though, so a comeback and flat will work well.
