Sometimes I get lost in which formation works best in which situation. I use to have 2 or 3 plays on offense as I got good at them.   But Id really like to learn the game and playbook and understand why one is better than another.   Im more of a running back kind of guy as it reminds me of Rugby League more, but Id like to learn all facets of the game.   Clearly there will be a beginners guide to gridiron on youtube. But what about a guide to what plays to use and when?

Ok my Xbox Elite Controller arrived, I dont have an xbox yet haha. But this is 2 months old and was half price.   Can someone share the best config for madden with it?   Also should I buy a new console or go for a 3 month old one with 4 games I like for the same price, I figure it still has warranty?

Why not buy an Xbox X instead of the elite controller?   Well wont the elite be the best controller for the game? If xbox X1x doesnt dramatically add anything to my 1080p experience, why would I shell out $400 more for it?   I also run a gtx1060 PC for SF5, I presume the elite controller will be epic for this.   I use the base model 75hz Zowie screen, I honestly cant see above 50fps but Im sure its there. 120hz would be overkill for me. For the Xbox, a 55" Sony Bravia 1080p which is surprisingly nice. Ill upgrade in a couple of years to 4k as prices are tumbling.   I feel comfortable if the Xbox 1S can run madden, there is no need for the X1x as to get the most I need a new TV and $400, and I will be playing maybe 2-3 games (all sports) max on the setup.   One has to stop somewhere and prioritise :-)

Yeah its the best controller I can imagine. So much customisation. Its a must have.   Which console do they use in the EA Championship?

WOW that Elite controller looks NUTS !!!  I have to have one just for my RGB PC gaming.   So Xbox gets enough Madden players? I thought because PS4 had a massive sales head start it might have more players, hence the question.

OH man see my thread which was marked as spam for more info, not sure why.   Basic is Im a NZ'r with good internet. Which console network has the most players, Xbox Live or Playstation network? I should add my last 2 consoles were Xbox. Havnt had a PS since PS one.   Thanks
