Yeah, sucks for me. My religion is super intolerant of people that knowingly spread venereal disease and who torture and kill dogs. I don’t think my religion has a carve out for these specific acts. I’m curious to learn about other religions that forgive such things and think such people should be promoted in a video game. I’m thinking of switching to a more tolerant religion. What are these religions, ranked from the most accepting to the least accepting of killing dogs for sport?

Forgiving knowingly transmitting diseases to women and torturing and killing dogs? No, my religion does not promote forgiving that. Does yours?

Several people have reached out to me to point out the fact that some people LIKE dog fighting and torturing and killing dogs is just part of it. I think it’s only fair to note their arguments.

Here is how you could easily do this. Just add an item to the store called “Delete Michael Vick” for $100. Anyone that pays the $100 has Michael Vick removed from their binder. And as a bonus your don’t make Michael Vick the person they see every time they click on Ultimate Team. I AM NOT asking you to do anything crazy like spend the money people pay you to remove Vick on an SPCA donation. You can keep 100% of the profits.

No, I don’t know “Vick is coming every year” because I assure you there is a future where EA stops this nonsense and probably offers a half-asses apology about it after they hire a crisis management firm to steer themselves out of all of their bad decisions.

Let’s be clear, by “got removed” you mean “removed himself because he decided he had to be against unions in order to be a Republican political candidate.” It’s not up to EA who is a member of the retired players union. But it IS up to EA whether they want money going to Michael Vick or if they would rather have money go to a charity that prevents animal cruelty instead. Since Michael Vick is again the main feature of the game, I looked online to see what the organizations against killing dogs would say. Turns out there are no organizations against killing dogs because OF COARSE that shouldn’t be necessary, we all know it’s wrong to kill dogs so we don’t need such an organization. Unless it’s EA, in which case a base level Human Resources course in how to be a decent human being needs to be held.

EA didn’t exclude them because they are Republican. They excluded themselves because they are against people collectively bargaining for themselves. EA gets the rights for these retired players from Pro Football Retired Players Association.

I might get too old for a lot of things, but I refuse to get too old for video games. I’m a professional writer, occasional film maker, and occasional music composer. I often work with people younger than me who gave up game and other childish pursuits in an effort to take their work more “seriously” I try to explain to them that the reason they got these opportunities in the first place was because they were the sort who plays with toys long past their peers.
