I play on PC but according to the manual you press L2 + R2 + R3 to slide.   https://eaassets-a.akamaihd.net/eahelp/manuals/madden-19-ps4-en.pdf   Edit: Upon looking at the manual longer it seems you do just press square when past the line of scrimmage. Not sure why it mentioned the other way bcuz I doubt anyone want to slide behind the line lol.

Problem is, it never seems to be challenge-able. It is always grayed out in the menu. At least for me... I remember it used to work in older Maddens (I haven't played in years).

How do you challenge a play in madden 19? Or is it just not possible? It always says there is nothing to challenge...

I've been having decent success using the edge guy. If you get off the snap quick and dive toward the kicker/ball you can get a block quite often. I see a lot of people use the inner 3rd guy and just rush through the line. I prefer to come off the edge myself.

I did but I am running the PC version on Origin Access. I got everything as soon as I was able to start playing 5 days ago. Must be an issue with the console version or something... Hope you get your stuff soon. Make sure to check the unopened packs section (but I'm sure you did that). Good luck.
