MUT Series 5 and New Team Builders
Series 5 in Madden Ultimate Team begins today, featuring new level rewards, master upgrades, players, sets, challenges, and missions! The maximum MUT level has been increased from 80 to 90 and all Series 4 Trophies have been converted to Series 5 Trophies (100 S4 Trophies=50 S5 Trophies). A new Collectible for Coach Madden can be found in the Store for 600 Series 5 Trophies (9 total). Check out everything new with Series 5 in MUT below:
Level Rewards
The following rewards are unlocked at each MUT level:
Level 81- Exclusive Store Offers. Level 81 Premium Legends Fantasy. Cost=400 Points. Limit of 1. Level 81 Legends Fantasy. Cost=65,000 Coins or 7,100 Training. Limit of 1.
Level 82- Legend Fantasy Pack
Level 83- 96 OVR Power Up Pass and Level Master Token
Level 84- 45,000 Coins
Level 85- Unlock Level Challenges
Level 86- Exclusive Store Offers. Level 86 Legends Fantasy. Cost= 500 Points. Limit of 1. Level 86 Legends Fantasy. Cost=85,000 Coins or 10,000 Training. Limit of 1.
Level 87- Unlock Level Challenges
Level 88- Legend Fantasy Pack
Level 89- 45,000 Coins
Level 90- 97 OVR Power Up Pass and Exclusive Store Offer. Level 90 Series 4 Redux Pack. Cost=1,500 Points. Limit of 1.
Players
Captain and Masters
Team Captains can now reach 97 OVR (Williams, Glover, McCaffrey, and George). You will be able to use a maximum of 3 new Team Captain Tokens during Series 5. You can earn Team Captain Tokens by completing the following objectives or purchasing them in the Store for 15,000 Coins each:
- Complete all 16 of the Team Builders challenges
- Win 75 challenges or H2H games
- Purchase from Store with Series 5 Trophies
MUT 21 Level Master Andre Johnson can now reach 96 OVR. Level Master Upgrade Tokens are earned at MUT levels 85 and 87.
MUT Master Sam Mills can now reach 98 OVR. Complete 2 of the following activities to earn a +1 OVR MUT Master Collectible and finish all 4 activities for an additional 150,000 Coins. This will reduce to 35,000 Coins once the series ends.

Series Redux
With each Series update, the LTD player items released after the launch of the previous Series will be available in packs as non-LTDs. The player item will no longer quicksell for 250,000 coins but quicksell for the appropriate amount of Training based on the player items Overall (OVR). If you already have an LTD item from a previous Series, it will be unaffected by this update. The following LTD player items from Series 4 are now available in packs as Redux versions:
