MUT Series 3 Overview and New Team Builders
Series 3 begins today in Madden Ultimate Team, featuring new level rewards, master expansions, players, sets, challenges, and missions! The maximum MUT level has been increased from 60 to 70 and all Series 2 Trophies have been converted to Series 3 Trophies (2x S2 Trophies=1x S3 Trophy). A new Collectible for Coach Madden can be found in the Store for 600 Series 3 Trophies (7 total). Check out everything new with Series 3 in MUT below:
Level Rewards
The following rewards are unlocked at each MUT level:
Level 61- Exclusive Store Offer. Contains a choice of 1x 87 OVR Core Elite or a Platinum. Choose between Platinum J.J. Watt, Core Elite DeAndre Hopkins, Russell Wilson, Khalil Mack, and Fletcher Cox. Cost = 350 Points.
Level 62- Gridiron Pack
Level 63- 89-90 OVR Power Up Pass and Level Master Token
Level 64- 35,000 Coins
Level 65- Unlock Level Challenges
Level 66- Exclusive Store Offer. Contains a choice of 1x 87 OVR Core Elite or a Platinum. Choose between Platinum David Bakhtiari, Core Elite George Kittle, Derrick Henry, Johnny Hekker, and J.J. Watt. Cost = 350 Points.
Level 67- Unlock Level Challenges
Level 68- Gridiron Pack
Level 69- 35,000 Coins
Level 70- 91-92 OVR Power Up Pass
Players
Captain and Masters
Team Captains can now reach 93 OVR (Williams, Glover, McCaffrey, and George). You will be able to use a maximum of 3 new Team Captain Tokens during Series 3. You can earn Team Captain Tokens by completing the following objectives or purchasing them in the Store for 15,000 Coins each:
- Win 75 Challenges or H2H games to earn a Team Captain Token.
- You can get 1 Team Captain Token from the Store using Series Trophies or up to 3 Tokens using Points or Coins.
- Complete all 16 of the Series 3 Team Builders Challenges to earn a Team Captain Token.
MUT 21 Level Master Andre Johnson can now reach 93 OVR. Level Master Upgrade Tokens are earned at MUT levels 65 and 67.
MUT Master Sam Mills can now reach 96 OVR. Complete 2 of the following activities to earn a +1 OVR MUT Master Collectible and finish all 4 activities for an additional 125,000 Coins. This will reduce to 30,000 Coins once the series ends.
- Record 800 Team Tackles with Sam Mills on your team
- Record 1,500 Team Tackles with Sam Mills on your team
- Record 25 Sacks with Sam Mills
- Record 45 Sacks with Sam Mills

Series Redux
With each Series update, the LTD player items released after the launch of the previous Series will be available in packs as non-LTDs. The player item will no longer quicksell for 250,000 coins but quicksell for the appropriate amount of Training based on the player items Overall (OVR). If you already have an LTD item from a previous Series, it will be unaffected by this update. The following list of LTD player items from Series 1 and 2 are now available in packs as Redux versions:

- 88 OVR Team Builders Fantasy Pack (Series 3) - Exchange 1x 85-86 OVR player, 2x 83-84 OVR players, and 2x 80-82 OVR players to earn a Team Builders Fantasy Pack containing your choice of 1x 88 OVR Team Builders player.

- Level 65 - 7 Challenges, 3,500 Coins, 1x Level Master Collectible (This step increases your OVR +1)
- Level 67 - 7 Challenges, 3,500 Coins, 1x Level Master Collectible (This step unlocks unique art treatments)

- TB: Series 3 - 16 Challenges, 11,200 Coins, 80 Stars possible
The following new Milestone Rewards are available after the 448 possible Stars from Team Affinity Series 1 and 2 Challenges:
460 Stars: 70+ Gold Core Team Fantasy Pack and 2,000 Coins
475 Stars: 70+ Gold Core Team Fantasy Pack
490 Stars: Ultimate Gold Team Fantasy Pack and 2x 70+ Gold Core Team Fantasy Packs
505 Stars: 10,000 Coins
528 Stars: 80-84 OVR Core Division Fantasy Pack and 5,000 Coins
Missions
There are new Series 3 Multiplayer missions that reward you with Series 3 Trophies for winning online games. Completing the full list will reward you with an additional 100,000 coins. The following is a breakdown of rewards earned at each tier:

Yeah I get that, but why should we have to do this to play the game. Its like the satellite company telling me to go out and make sure the satellite is pointing the right direction, and then give me the coordinates to do it for them. Because they changed the coordinates the night before.

What the hell is going on here? Did EA make the level 61 pack 900 though? It says 350, but when I go into the store. It’s listed for 900? Smh.
What about the last days of most feared. I’ve got about 8 potions and since most feared is now “archived” I can’t use them. Was saving them up to get a higher ranked players then basic 79-81 players. Such bs, they dropped most feared so late then it’s like 350 challenges not counting house rules and don’t even give us a full week to play the challenges and get the rewards. Some of us have jobs and can’t play 8-10 hours a day. Been playing the game since madden 2001 with Eddie George on the cover. The game had just got worse and worse every year! Plus I would get ncca football, nba live, and fifa every year as well, also mvp baseball when they had it for small amount of years. Over $240 a year on games alone... sincerely, one of many LONG term customers of EA
I can use one of those TE’s as an upgrade to my current TE2, but that’s it. Maybe by playing the full games on the easiest difficulty I can grind some Sam Mills sacks for his upgrade
