MUT 20 Playoffs Program Overview and New Legends
As anticipated, the NFL Playoffs Program has arrived just in time for this weekend's Wild Card games! Below you will find an overview of everything you need to know about today's latest program in Madden Ultimate Team (New Legends found at the end):
Players
Masters Bailey and Owens can be acquired by completing their set that requires any 3x AFC Heroes for Bailey and any 3x NFC Heroes for Owens. Once you finish either set, you will receive that player's Master item, their Power Up, and a Fantasy Pack containing your choice of 3x NAT Playoff Heroes from that Master's respective conference. Team Heroes can be acquired by finishing their set that requires all 6x non-Hero player items from that team.

NFL Playoffs Welcome Set: Exchange 1x 80-82 OVR Elite Player for 1x random 83+ OVR NFL Playoffs Player. This set can only be completed once.
83+ OVR NFL Playoffs Player: Exchange 1x 83-84 OVR Elite Player and 3x 80-82 OVR Elite Players for 1x random 83+ OVR NFL Playoffs Player.
87-89 OVR Playoffs Player: Exchange 5x 83-85 OVR NFL Playoffs Players for 1x random 87-89 OVR NFL Playoffs Player.
91-93 OVR NFL Playoffs Player: Exchange 5x 87-89 OVR NFL Playoffs Players for 1x random 91-93 OVR NFL Playoffs Player.
Solos
The following new solo challenge sequences have been added to Ultimate Team with the NFL Playoffs Program. Reach 108 total Stars for a NAT 89 OVR NFL Playoffs Player.
Playoff: 24 Challenges, 24,000 Coins, 120 Stars possible
Crunch Time Drills: 12 Challenges, 12,000 Coins, 60 Stars possible

The following new items have been added to the Store with the Playoffs Program:
Playoffs Pack: 35,000 Coins or 600 Points. Contains an 83+ OVR Playoffs Player, 1x 73+ Gold or Better Player, and 3x Silver Players.
85+ OVR Playoffs Pack: 150 Points. Contains an 85+ OVR Playoffs Player. (Limit of 1)
20x Playoffs Bundle: 12,000 Points. Contains 20x Playoff Packs and a Fantasy Pack Topper containing a choice of 93 OVR Playoffs Player. (Limit of 2)
2x Playoffs Bundle: 1,050 Points. Contains 2x Playoff Packs. (Limit of 8)
95 OVR Playoffs Hero: 26,500 Training. Contains a random 95 OVR Playoffs Hero.
83+ OVR Playoffs Player: 1,380 Training. Contains an 83+ OVR Playoffs Player.
Legends
Today's latest installment of Legends brings us Jordan Gross, Dwight Freeney, and LTD Antwaan Randle El. The Power Up version of each player can be earned by completing their solo challenge. Boss Gross and Boss Freeney can be acquired by finishing their set that requires the 5 corresponding non-Boss player items. LTD Antwaan Randle El is only in packs until 10 am ET on 1/6 and has a quicksell value of 250,000 Coins. Check out all the new items below:

Don't know about the rest of you, but I'm not even remotely interested in that 89ovr for over 100 Stars... I'll just keep doing seasons and WL.
Yep I prefer seasons and buying packs/players to update my team. Solo challenges are too short and I spend more time on the loading screens that actually playing.

Really wish EA would put out powerups with players when they come out. (Edmund's, Lynch) Like it really cant be that hard. I don't care what excuses Kraelo has made about it taking 8 hours a card (we all know this is a complete lie). Like if it really is taking that long then get someone new to do it, or find a better way.. This waiting to maybe, eventually get a powerup is getting old. This is not a hard fix, regardless of what anyone at EA says. Its 2020 EA, get with the times.. If you want is to use these powerups, and spend our money on training, then you need to actually give us new powerups more then just twice in the first 5 months of the game. Either get rid of them completely or start coming out with them way way more often, and way way more of them. No card over a 90 ovr in the game right now should be without a powerup. Yet almost all of them don't have a powerup. And honestly this is really something EA needs to address, and they need to address it quick. They've been doing powerups now for 3 years. How have they not found a better way... Honestly I think they are just lazy and not good at their job. Because their is absolutely no excuse for how few new powerups they have realesed this year. Like watch them again this year never give shady McCoy a powerup...
108 stars for a 89 is terrible. we got a set piece from every team in years past

Deshaun Watson is insane
This is the best kind of promo. Makes running a theme team so much more fun. Vikings theme team got a plus 2 (89 to a 91) overall boost today. Hopefully EA does more of these kinds of promos in the offseason. Last years Team Builder promo was amazing.

As thankful as I am for the new cards, I can't help but want Wildcard TOTW cards. Cook and Thielen both earned upgrades against the Saints.
Speaking strictly for theme team purposes, the 9ners hero Dee Ford does more for the Chiefs theme team than the Chiefs hero Travis Kelce.
Staley does more than both. Seahawks Duane Brown as well.

I still have 1x 85-86 power up pass, and 2x 62-81 power up pass' and my Patrick Tillman is an 83. I also have a Bruce Matthews power up, Jonathan Ogden power up and Jerry Rice power up. What should I do with my lineup? I need help.
Hey bro, you might want to work on your chemistries. x2 and 3 where you can (88 and overs) and I got rid of BO and BD and replaced with WC and LD. That powered up Dickerson is a beast. Maybe get rid of AP and start Dickerson. Maybe use your open backup positions for low golds on the same team to help build team chem. Adding a little theme team and adding chemistry to coaches, uniforms and stadiums also helps. Unfortunately you're gonna have to play more and keep leveling up, too. Good luck, hope this helps.
I currently have Jim Brown powered up but I’m thinking of switching to a new rb. Thinking either Bo or Walter. What do u guys suggest?

they did do that, and I doubt they do it this year. they also used to do playoffs team of the week which isn't a thing anymore either.
When you complete the Hero sets, do you get the 6 theme team cards back as NAT? It doesn't say and I don't want to lose all of the cards.

So is EA gonna fix the 95 power up pass ?i can’t power up my rod woodson to 95 for some odd reason anyone else having a problem with this?
The 95 power up pass is used in place of 95s not a 94 card like Rod Woodson

I was able to power up my Barry sanders to 95?so idk
Unless you had 500k gold available, you likely used 93-94 power up. Try Downgrade and see... I had to decide between Woodson and (Deion) Sanders, not both.

Does anyone know if the set heroes can get every team's chem? They did this with the Kurt Warner at the beginning of the year, but I think they went away from it

you get to choose three of the players out of that conference. So if you put 3 Deshaun Watsons you could get a Deshaun, a Kelce, and a Stanley back (for example). You can picks any 3 out of that conference
