LTDS- Brian Poole and Ryan Kelly
Happy Thursday to everyone in the MUTHead community! It is LTD time and we have two beasts coming to the game of John Madden Football. Defensively, we have current New York Jet and former Florida Gator Brian Poole. I've seen a lot of people on Twitter talking about how good this 98 OVR cornerback looks, ratings wise. He comes in with 96 SPD, 97 ACC, 97 MCV, and 95 ZCV, which certainly put him in the upper echelon of all defensive packs in Ultimate Team. Offensively, we need to protect the quarterback from those angry pass rushers. How about we bring in longtime Colt and former Crimson Tide Ryan Kelly to shore up that O-Line at the Center position? Kelly comes into the game with 94 STR, 97 PBK, and 94 RBK, so there will be plenty of 99s on this guy once chems and TTs are activated. Both of these players are live in packs and will be available for 48 hours (until Saturday morning), so get them while you can! Check them out (with their former teams) below!

I can’t help but feel like they’ve completely dropped the ball on power ups this year. They’re one of the best and most fun things about current ultimate team, and there are so many players missing them. The only good thing that came out of last years COVID-shortened year was the random big drops of power ups, but I haven’t seen any of that this year

I’m starting a Carolina panthers theme team and was wanting people thoughts on the following. For a full theme team is it ok to have players that used to play for your team but don’t get your teams chem. And what about when a player has your team chem but has never actually played for them (e.g. dak for the panthers?)

I thought these cards were suppose to be some of the top players from each team, not some random pick of players. Brian Poole is a nice pick, but Ryan Kelly though 🤦🏾♂️ Got to do better EA.

No No, you guys are getting the wrong idea of what I’m saying lol. I’m saying that a Olinemen that is an LTD is not that wanted, not that desirable, but obviously if you are a colts fan you don’t care, you want that card for your Theme Team. I’m just saying that they should choose better cards for LTDs. If you played MUT for a while, you would remember that LTDS were literally limited and once they left packs they were super expensive all year and they weren’t linemen that were LTDs lol.

It’s pointless though, like nobody is spending half a million coins on a card that could have been in a regular promo? The cards always go for 300k at best when it’s someone has no desire to add to the team.
it helps positions with low overalls though... if you have the coins

Yeah I can agree on that but wouldn’t you take another promo to do that and not make just a filler spot for a theme team one of the most expensive cards in the game? You would think EA would make the better players on each team the selected players so now the LTD portion of the card and release is worth the coins. The cards today are going for like 350-400k already.
