Thinking about running a two QB system .

I have 2 QB but only because I wanted the extra BO chem from having a 2nd QB higher than 86. Consider this:

• It becomes a bit of a pain lining up your plays in game to have different QB run different plays.
• When playing H2H, if your opponent notices you are using 2 different QB, say Marino and Vick, that will telegraph to them when you intend to pass and when you might be running an option.

Why?

I was thinking of doing this cause the Ravens playbook has some plays with triple options to the backup qb and rb

If your main qb can run which Culpepper can there is no need to get another one unless you are running with your qb as much as the Ravens do. I have Ben and Vick is in there in case i feel the need to run with my qb. He comes in handy in solo battles but other than that hes never used

Last year i ran vick and lamar when I'd run read option i would switch after a long run

I use Favre and Tebow, gunslinger on Favre and nothing on Tebow. Tebow plays about 5 plays a game for me, a qb power run, a read option, a slant route, a streak and the qb power on a 3rd and one. Other than that Favre is lights out. I love having the option to switch to the other guy if I need to move around

It works when you’re main QB just has gunslinger for 1 AP. Then have a mobile QB that can also throw without abilities.

I have Favre with gunslinger and 97 overall Watson as backup just because he doesn’t get gunslinger. Sometimes I’ll sub him in when I’m in the red zone to make my opponent respect the fact that I can also run

I run Rogers but kept my 90 Jackson for heavy run schemes and solos. Good for fake FG and EP too.

I use McNair for the vast majority of my plays but once or twice a game I will call QB Blast from Taysom Hill QB package where the backup QB is automatically substituted. I use the 92 OVR Tebow as he has the best change of direction combined with carry. He's about 60k right now.

One of the biggest advantages of this system is you reduce QB fatigue. QB fatigue (IMO) is a big factor in dropped passes. I have tested it and confirmed. It is not always because of the receiver. Also helps with bad throws.

Played a guy who did that. But made it obvious what he was doing when he swapped QBs

It's nice to have someone with speed as a back up - so you can sub in for draws/fakes stuff like that

I run Big Ben and Vick. Depending on the defense I swap accordingly. It seems to work pretty well.
