FS: 95 Hyde, 81 Poyer SS: 94 Troy P, 94 Taylor Mays CB: 93 Vincent, 93 Gilmore, 90 White In my 3-3-5 nickel I sub in Mays and was subbing in Chinn, but now will be testing out my 96 Paul P and Mills in on the outsides at over 90 zone each and 93 speed and usering mays in the middle still.....if linebackers get passed all over easily, then i will switch back to subbing in Safetys across the board.

That is straight-up NASTY. Raiders TT is pretty damn nice.
We are hooked up with some good safeties - that Johnathan Abram card is way better than you'd think as a user, one of my favorite surprise cards. Good thing safeties are worth so much this year because if I was stuck with Linebackers I'd have 0 that I wanted to put on the field haha. Minkah was on my squad for a while with that TOTW upgrade, I'm sure he'll get some love soon for the steelers theme teamers.
Jets theme team
SS1: Reed SS2: Jamal
FS1: Atwater FS: Maye
CB1: Lott
In game Jamal and Maye are Sub LB.
Atwater plays Centerfield the best
Once either Ty Law or Revis drop Lott will be FS1, I will have to not include one of the safeties in my lineup, might put them in Slot corner if I can just to have them on the team. Whichever gets gold 99 end of year got the spot on the team
So check it out JC. Currently have 94 Lott at sub LB1 and Jamal Adams at Sub LB2. I run both of them their with 40/40 brawler for the extra strength to deal with those big uglies coming at them. I use them for their high strength and blockshed. I run Reed at SS and user Mays at FS. Chuck Clark and Eric Weddle handle ALL special teams duties so none of my safety’s are gassed when it’s time to play. I recently switched Reed to sub LB2 because even though Adams has 93 man coverage his agility and COD make him get beat like a drum by RBs on Texas and table routes. I reluctantly moved Reed their even though he has extremely low blockshed and strength. Guess what???? Reed plays that sub lb position 10 times better than Adams ever did and with 95 speed 95 acceleration 95 agility and 96 COD 98 catching their is not a single RB that Reed can’t lock down. There you have it. My CB1 is Humphrey CB2 Prime time CB3 A Williams (80 strength 40/40 brawler) because my nickel CB best be physical on my squad CB4 Marcus Peters (if I play man) with Woodson at CB4 if I play zone. Big nickel, Dollar is all I run. (Reed is better than Adams at sub LB) just my opinion off of personal experience

Thanks for the report, man. I was thinking about and I may keep Polamalu deep and run Lott/Reed at sub-LB for that amazing Agility/Change Of Direction.
My SS are Lott, Minka, Troy P, Amos, and Derwin (all of them are powered up max sprinter, LD, and running 50/50 Steelers TT). I have been playing Big Nickle Defense and have Lott and Troy P in the Box. I have Amos and Minka playing deep blue, and I have Derwin playing as the 3rd SS.
Note: Jamal Adams looks good I might get him however if Reed drops in price I might get Reed instead. Reed's traits are crazy good, Clutch=Yes, Big hitter, plays ball agressive. These are the traits I want on my SS. Also Reed has 92 catch.
i run micah hyde and troy p deep, my three linebackers im usering mays, lott in the middle and jamal on the outside. they all make alot of plays but i feel like micah makes the least just due tho the position i normally have him in
I agree with everything you said. Your list includes present snd future. Just gotta include the new Fuller card. It’s basically another McCourty. If he gets +1 or even the +2 it’s even closer.

JC, I couldn't get Lott to be my Sub LB even after giving him SS as a secondary position. Do you do this manually in game?
Running Lott at FS, Adams at SS, Mays at sub to user. Lott and Adams can both get 90+ man which is nice.
Eddie Jackson and Adrian Amos are it. Eddie still leads my teams in picks as people attack him since he is only a chem’d 85 with no abilities. I run 3 LB in 3-3-5 and 2 in BNOG/Nickel Normal. Roquan is a candidate for a +1 every week, and once he gets that he will get lurker and then him & Mills will be all I will need
I've heard good things about Adrian Amos. He's super cheap, so I may pick up his pieces in case he gets a solid upgrade in the future.
Amos should have been getting more love from the jump. Probably TT biased, but he had 89 speed at launch on a 50/50 and no physical chems. For you, he'd shake out at 94 speed, 94 acceleration, 96 zone, and 90 man. It's probably a guessing game of who you think gets further upgrades as he is right in the mix with the guys you have. On a TT with max shaker, he gets 95 speed, 96 acceleration, and 90 COD. Essentially he is my Lott with less hit power
Im currently running Mays and troy at sub with Devin at SS and Maye at FS , i just bought Reed today going to put him at Ss moving devin back to FS tonight.
I run a mix of 4-3 / Nickel and Big Nickel depending on opponents personnel on the field and any tendencies I may have noted (if they are run heavy it's 4-3 with some big nickel...pass heavy is nickel with some big nickel). With that said I use the following...4-3: ROLB= Taylor, MLB= Mills (user), LOLB= Seau / Nickel and Big Nickel: SLB1= Mays (user), SLB2= Mills...the defensive line is the same in all formations (Donald, Glover, Randle and White).
I run 50/50 Pats 50/50 LD and 40/40 Sprinter
I run two safeties. Back deep. Sub LBs are LBs in nickel and isaiah comes in when it's 3-3-5. Soon to switch to 3 LBs once Jaylon gets upgraded. I do just fine.

Same. 3-3-5 is Briggs-Roquan-Mills.
Yessir. Maybe earlier in the year having safeties at LB was the move but LBs are getting better so not needed as much now
Probably won't get an Urlacher this year, but I'll likely need to replace Briggs at some point, though. Maybe then I'll switch back to a safety in the 3rd spot. If a Tillman drops, that would be ideal. I'd play Porter/Fuller at safety, move Amos to subLB, and Tillman would play the outside for whichever CB I moved deep. Or I'll just get more Canes on the field with Reed and a future ST
Are your LBs jumping in coverage? When I used Mills there he just wouldn't animate even when I clicked on to try to get a pick...
I user Mills and sometimes he doesn't animate but he does everything else so good that I can't justify taking him out.
I always have Mills on the field and have been usering Jaylon since yesterday. LBs are actually animating a bit more since the last update it seems. I would probably always user a safety, but 4-3 stops the run dead where any of the nickels can get dicey if the opponent is good.
I've noticed my LB's making a few more plays the last month or so. Idk if it's because of a game change or just Kendricks/Wagner's upgrades
Good write up. Troy P isn’t the best stat wise, but he is always making plays. The scary smart thing is an understatement. I have Mills on the field. Always. He gets to the ball and makes plays. Cowboys 45/50 (none of my safeties get a boost), Balanced D at 50,. Acrobat at 25. +1 AGI, +1 SPD, +1COD, and +1JMP and only -1 ACC. Defense is 94 overall and I go zone 75% / Man 25% in most games.
FS - Troy. 92 Speed, 96 PRC, 94 PUR, 95 AWR and 93 ZCV. I never have him in man unless it is the occasional RB. He’s normally deep in a zone.
SS - Don’t laugh....Harrison Smith. 96 Overall. Pulled him and can basically use him for free since he’s selling at or below quicksell and training is dirt cheap. 90 Speed, 96 PRC, 96 PUR, 90 MCV, 96 ZCV, 95 POW, 95 AWR, 88 COD.....at 6’2”. He is a beast. Like Troy, always around the ball and just makes play after play. He is also really solid on LBs and RBs in man coverage......way better than Reed and Troy.
Big Nickel SS - 93 Overall Adams(today’s boost will be nice) 91 Speed, 90 man, 93 zone, 95 POW, 93 AWR, only 86 COD. Makes a lot of plays, but too sluggish to be my user.
User/Sub LB - 94 overall Ed Reed (stock card, will power up when it is in packs) 92 speed, 95 PRC, 86 Man, 95 Zone, 94 AWR, 94 (!) CTH, 90 Jump, 93 COD. Dude is butter smooth and I slapped acrobat on him to make up for the height.

That Agility & Change Of Direction on Ed Reed may force me to pick him up... That's sick.
Hitman always plays lights out for me.. No shame.
Devin FS, Mays FS and sub LB, Reed SS and Jamal SS second sub LB. I'm waiting for Sean Taylor and 97 Derwin later in the game.
I've been using Maye's Team Standout (NAT) and Adams fully powered up (PU pass) deep, with Derwin fully powered up, Mays' Stacked 50, and Peppers' TotW in at SubLBs and in BNOG. Zero complaints. Run 2-deep man 2/3rds of the time, with Cover 2 (usering the MLB) and Cover 3 Buzz Match mixed in so they don't purely run man-beaters. Rarely blitz, but may need to change that.
FS - Mccourty and Harmon.. both 99 zone, play them both deep
SS - Harrison, Jamal and Taylor Mays as my user, these are my LBS. I run a pats TT and Harrison is legit amazing on it
We all know linebackers in this game jump like they're wearing Jimmy Hoffa's cement shoes. So let's talk about how many safeties you're running on your squad, which ones work well for you, where you're playing them, and when you're playing them (i.e., what packages you're using).
My main squad is 93 OVR and I have basically all of the players I want. I run 40/50 Steelers along with 40/40 Sprinter and, on defense, I run 50/50 Lock Down and 10/50 Pass Rush on my defensive line and rush linebackers. I primarily run Big Nickel Over G and Nickel 3-3-5, and no middle linebackers ever see my field. It's all safeties at sub-LB for me. Here's my current safety roster, which runs five deep:
I have Minkah Fitzpatrick in my binder, but he's chilling there until his next upgrade. I didn't pick up Ed Reed, but I'm happy to hear how he's playing for folks. I just can't see him replacing the G.O.A.T. Troy P as my deep safety and I don't know that he'd be better at sub-LB than Lott/Adams.
So who are yinz guys using? How? Where?
