It doesn't make you faster, but it messes up the pursuit angle of CPU players. Also it somehow makes you more elusive to shoe string tackles.
It definitely does not make you faster. Some believe it “messes up” the “lock on” pursuit angle of the trailing defender.
It looks really dumb and there’s no chance a ball carrier in real life could change hands that frequently. It would actually likely result in a fumble. I’m surprised it wasn’t addressed in the new game mechanics similar to how flipping a play or audibling too much will now cause linemen to false start.
It’s a myth that try-hards think is real
I guess pros who do it for a living are try hards ?
Of course they're try-hards. They run all game without barely passing. Don't try and defend those cheesing nerds, though I don't put anything past you.
That explains what these dudes are doing I play when they get a breakaway run.
It’s doesn’t make you run faster some believe ie messes up the pursuit of the defenders in pursuit
In my experience it doesn't exactly make you "faster" but often messes with the tackle A.I mechanics and when trailing leads to more of those "tail rider" animations which we all know is cheese. But pros still run it so imo it doesn't hurt unless it truly makes it harder for you to control the stick.
Or just a myth
