Anyone run a consistent gun empty offense ???
Saints have a couple of empty sets I use where you can still block 7... one by motioning in the outside receiver and the other without any motion at all. I will use these a few times per game and it can be effective against the usual blitzes... gotta be fast if they send 8 but usually they are sending 6 or 7 with contain blitzes and these pick it up nicely. Having Hot Route master keeps their user guessing... but the middle can be dangerous with lurker Mays, Sean T, etc. sitting there.
I tired the 5 wide jet pass meta for a while...I mix it in every now and then to try and throw my opponent off. I use the Panthers playbook...so I can audible from 5 wide to single back trips or gun bunch fairly easily. Gives added flexibility if you can always threaten to audible to a quick run set.
it usually works for me, especially if your playing gunslinger but it just taking your 5-15yds at a time.

The blitz’s are too good for you to run any empty set it just is what it is you might get a few throws off but you’ll eventually get instant blk shedded and panic throw a pic or be in a 3rd and 18
youll get hollered at. I dont find empty offenses to be that difficult to defend, per the usual its all about using clear out routes down the middle in order to hit a dig or a slant or something.
It’s challenging - you are gonna get pressed hard and blitzed even harder. I think the only way to go there is a drag to draw their user, 2 outs from the inside and 2 streaks from the outside
Nope. I try every now and then and most people come out in a mid blitz >.>
Better be very quick route combos, you come out in empty you are getting 6,u or 8 sent and the user taking away the middle with a lurker with 99 speed means, the throwing lanes are small and free rushers are screaming
