I just blitz 9 while hovering my user over the middle/right side of the field as Bailey locks Moss down in press man coverage 😂
Yeah us wrong against Moss is the best strategy. For some reason people I play don’t do it as much. I have 99 Brady w/ protected and always keep my rb and te in to block and always have enough time to get the pass off
I'm pretty good at manually pressing Moss into oblivion, doubling him, and picking off my opponent's Mossed 100 attempts. But he's still really, really good all over the field. I don't have Moss yet, but I'm looking forward to it.
Likely because of thresholds, he literally gave me nothing new my other gold 99's weren't giving me, Rice and Holt.
Agreed! Fully powered up Rice has been insane for me. That guy catches everything!!
I've found that bigger body receivers (Megatron, Moss, etc.) hold onto the ball better on contested catches. So I'm looking forward to using Moss, as my best receiver all year was Calvin Johnson for the month after he was released.
Moss literally could not make an aggressive catch for me on deep routes in 10 H2H games. I was shocked, I don't need him to run short or intermediate routes or take the burner role from gold 99 Holt. I need him to make those contested deep catches or he brings nothing of value to my table. He just didn't.
Moss was crap for me. I fully PU the card - a PU GOLD 99 - and used him in 10 games. I got ONE opening Moss 100 catch out of 10 tries. I targeted him heavily and he literally at 6'4" with 99 JMP could not win a single aggressive catch. EA continues to release cards that either play above or below posted stats. This one I broke down and AH'ed and moved my 99 PU pass to Mawae until something better for it releases, like LT.

I mean, that depends on the defense you're going against and how much pressure is brought down on you.
I never used Moss on the first play because that was expected far too often. Wait to use him, bring out a set that has good protection (so you have one other receiver max), and be prepared for user coverage AND pressure. You also have to make sure he's at least 55 yards downfield, but not so far downfield that you underthrow him: you must throw it to him while he's in stride. I choose to touch pass or throw a bullet if I'm uncertain with how far downfield he may be. Lobs are far too easy to intercept, and you have to be watching if the user bumps Moss out of the way.
Had two opponents last night each with PU Moss (I have him as well). Both times they start the game going deep against PU Deion in single coverage (starts out in the zone too) and both times easy user pick. Very next play I try the same thing to Moss and both times I get crazy catch animations for 70+ yard TDs. This game cracks me up sometimes.
