Double drag(mesh route)
Hard flats & a QB spy can get you picks on dual drags. Then user the deeper routes (usually a corner).
Play cover 2 and shade down, then put your outside corners back to ctoud flats
Are you putting your coverage into hard flats? If not, and you’re on Xbox, it would be “Y” button and right stick down. That should stop that real quick...or you could call a play that already has that coverage in it - such as “Cover 2 Hard Flat”...and for even more coverage you could put a D-lineman into a spy for added coverage in the short middle
I am not sure if this is the newer meta but seeing it more online. I can stop a drag route with user but having difficulty with the ai helping me stop the other drag routes that I am not usering. I’m having problems with the play that has 2 drag routes on both side for a total of 4 guys running drags. I tried cover 2 zone with a mlb spying while I user but there is always someone open and other zones with blitzs. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
