There will not be daily matches. Instead, matches will happen on Monday/Wednesday/Friday each week
There will be a leaderboard payout at the end of a Siege season
Siege Mods
There are various different “modifiers” that affect each defender
There are 2 different types of mods: Local and Global mods
Local mods affect only specific rooms. For example, a room might have 20 yd first downs. This will only affect that one specific room.
Global mods affect every room in a Siege, both for your opponent and for you. Clearing a room that has a Global mod will remove that mod’s effect. For example, if the room that holds the offensive OVR boost is removed, it will remove the boost for your opponent.
Local Mods include: 20 Yd First Downs / 60 second drives / Random Playcalls / No coach bonus and weakness / Skip 1st down / Playstyle-only plays (Long Pass, Run, etc)
Global Mods include: Off OVR Boost / Def OVR Boost / Playstyle OVR Boost
The percentage boost for Global Mods can be increased via league contribution, which will cost league tokens
Siege Preparation
Commissioner and Admins can adjust the location of both defenders and mods
Preparation for Siege will generally last about 24 hours. Days for prep will be each weekend, as well as Tuesday and Thursday.
Contribution for Global Mods can be done during this period
Siege Gameplay
To start a Siege, only the first 3 rooms will be visable. These rooms will not have mods.
To capture/clear a zone, a certain amount of points must be scored vs each opponent. For example, to clear the first zone, a total of 40 points must be scored on them.
Opponent’s rooms will be hidden past the first 3 rooms and will be gradually revealed upon clearing rooms.
Tickets are required to play a match. Each player will be given 10 Siege tickets at the start of each Siege, and do not carry over between Sieges.
Additional Siege tickets can be bought via league tokens. It is not possible to spend MC for more tickets.
178 drives is required to fully clear the Siege board
Siege Scoring
Points are earned in 2 different ways
The first way is by simply scoring points on opponents.
The second way is via clearing rooms. Each room has a differing amount of points associated with them. For example, the first 3 rooms award 200 pints for clearing, but the very last room awards 700 points for clearing.
Points are only awarded to the listed amount of points needed to clear a zone. For example, if you score 8 points when you only need 3 points to clear, you will only be awarded 3 points.
Siege Rewards
There will be a leaderboard that has the same tiers as LvL
Both the leaderboard and each individual siege will award League Tokens
35 Siege drives are required to obtain the end-of-season leaderboard rewards
League Tokens can be used for a bunch of various offers, including: Coin packs / Training Points / Weights / Headsets / Mythic badges / Siege Tickets / etc
Siege Tickets will cost 175 Tokens, which is not a very high number
Misc. Siege Info
Lineups will lock either when you launch a drive, or when your defense has been attacked
There are a bunch of new League goals, both daily and weekly. They still award League XP and Weights, as well as League Tokens
Matchmaking will work similarly to LvL. Also, a fix to overall LvL/Siege matchmaking is in the works.
Future of Siege
A points per drive bonus will be implemented “relatively soon”. This means that point bonuses will be awarded for efficiency.
Additional mods are being looked at
Each Siege season will likely change the board layout and how one progresses through it.
There’s discussion of potentially shortening prep time and increasing actual Siege gameplay time
Eventually, players will be added to the league tokens store. It sounds as though these will be higher-level players.
