"Worth it" is more a question of your coin stack than the relative value of a MUT card. I'd say he's worth around 700K to me as a card that has a value floor of 350K, but I have stacked a ton of coins. As for your questions about the card itself -- Cro's size, jumping, and overall attributes (especially the high Agility & COD) mean he'll play damn well without Abilities, though of course limited as all non-Ability cards are. If you play a straight man scheme, I'd advise using 2 AP on Inside Shade so that he'll stick to the WR in very annoying fashion. Yes, you miss out on Pick Artist, but he'll likely stay closer to WRs and prevent more catches that way. Stacking a KO Ability is big in man schemes, with most guys running Deep Route KO if they run Cover 0 and Mid Route KO if they run a Cover 2 variant. The KO Abilities help trigger catch knock-outs even if your CB is beat by a specific route, so it is very helpful.
Personally, I run primarily zone, so I have CB Calvin Johnson and CB Charles Woodson on the outside, both with Pick Artist and Deep Out Zone KO for 1 AP. I'm running Cromartie as my slot CB with free Pick Artist. He's amazing in that spot, as I use it to man up guys, blitz, or drop back in a Vertical Hook. In Dollar, I have NTL on the other side. Having two big CBs in the slot is helpful in a lot of ways.
Thanks JC. I like your set up. I already have Calvin and NTL. I was going to add whoever come out of the no ag present so I can always use a 4th CB. I've been playing more quarters so all 4 cbs are out there. I have 6 million, I just hate overpaying for any card. I also remember last year when they put reduxes out two weeks after Christmas. I do like going legends whenever I can for that 350k floor.
