That’s the point. The engine SUCKS. Frostbite was an absolute disaster and EA knows it, but refuses to use their money and resources to get a new gameplay engine

mYa, I get that they're trying to maximize the value they get for buying DICE, but sports really need their own engine. This article had a solid review, summary: FPS engines are for FPS. https://www.usgamer.net/articles/ea-frostbite-engine-history-bioware-ea-sports
I think EA is trying to not start over again with frostbite, like they did with our previous engine.
maybe they are moving on? who knows? They can be building up another engine as we speak.
