First, pick your team. There's no wrong choice here. Second, there are so many good cheap and often free cards available that it's a no brainer to grab as many as you can. Only buy players you want in the AH when training is cheap (usually Fri/Sat). The thing with a theme team is you need to use power ups to get the chem you want on a lot of the players. Over time, that costs a lot of training. That's where these free cards come in handy even at a fraction of full training. This will allow you to play at a higher level and pick projects to work on. Once you start assembling your them team you will then want to power them up which costs, you guesses it, training. That Favre you hear good things about is only so good because of the abilities you are able to purchase for him. Otherwise he plays like any other QB imo. The journey is fun and it's fine to mess up along the way. The more time you spend in game, the more you notice trends particularly with releases and pricing.

I just got it myself and did the 50's. Took Reggie White and Deion as my 2. Reggie was probably not the best choice. If you're like myself and haven't played in years, there is a lot to wrap your head around with chem and power ups. I think I'll just experiment for the rest of this game to decide if I want to go all in on 22. I'm legit scared to power up anyone and waste the training points I have.
