I wouldn’t rule out scheme here, Clowney was at his best when given multiple blitz looks when Vrabel was the DC in Houston. He might believe this is the best place to earn a big contract

It’s the same training cost, you understood it correctly in the first place. You use the power up pass instead of the player card, but it doesn’t skip any other levels. Training points are hella expensive right now, so what he’s saying is just to wait a bit and not power up unnecessarily until the training points are cheaper
