Would this training pass allow to get Ryan Fitzpatrick?

I'm sitting on 1.4 and I'm not feeling compelled to put in effort to use it. Content just isn't that great right now and I'm holding out hope for Friday with the new promo. The team diamonds not being released really killed a lot of enthusiasm for me. Team Builders are alright, legends meh. Gameplay patch also needs to come ASAP. I'll honestly give this game another 2-3 weeks before burying it. If content doesn't change and no patch, I'm out.
