100% of the blame is on EA. It's on them to make a game that can't be exploited. Fortnite and League of Legends don't have any sort of cheese and if they do it is fixed within two weeks max. If the game was fundamentally sound there wouldn't be so many ways to exploit the AI. Realistic football concepts don't work because of 91 zones. Hit sticks are out of control where they occur every other play. Ball carriers can make unrealistic spin moves that beat perfect pursuit angles. If something works it's not on the offense to stop using it. It's EAs fault if we don't have the tools stop something without makin crazy adjustments. Same for defense, if a blitz comes in every time rushing 3 vs 5 people it's due to shitty AI.

There are files in EA's code that adjust the fumble rate and block shed rate depending on if you are winning. Equalizer does exist

We don't need this. We just need more tool to stop routes and plays. Most things can be stopped.

Its called "defense is up by". There is no other translation for this except that players play differently based on score. Fuck EA for lying and saying this doesn't exist.

I honestly believe Regular head to head is harder than Weekend League and seasons(I am all madden 1st string). Most people in weekend league get by with stacked teams and don't know how to play offense. I still place top 100 whenever I play all my games without running a stacked team. If you have a high rating in regular teams you play some good people. I don't play salary cap but if that is where the best players play I would play it.

The madden franchise has been out for 30 years. I don't want to hear any excuses. The game sees minimal improvement year to year besides a roster update and graphics. They constantly add new features that just don't work. Read Option was a thing and its useless except for fringe cases because the fake handoff animation is too long on most option runs. Target passing was suppose to be a big thing but it is useless. We had squads years ago but they took it away. The game is locked into animations. This is why the game never feels smooth. I wouldn't feel bad if a good tall wr was able to win jump balls consistently if the game shows the WR locating and playing the ball with the defender naturally trying to defend it. What we get is a animation calculated by chance that determines the outcome. They need to make defenders playing the ball more organic. I think thresholds for animations can actually help but it needs a lot of work and more animations to fit more scenarios if they are going to keep using animations.
