Open your eyes. Look around. Do you see how many games have gotten changed or updated because of player backlash? Star Wars BF2 is a great example of it happening to a AAA game that was even meant for kids, and had no competition! But enough people didn't buy it and the community made enough fuss to get it changed. You'll never see that happen with a Madden game.
