Update: I chatted with customer support on Wednesday night. She said that she could expedite it to get it to me by Friday at no charge. Since I was originally supposed to get it Friday, then it changed to Tuesday, but now she can magically expedite it, I asked why the change in my delivery date. She said that there were a lot of pre-orders with 1 day shipping selected. Since I chose 2 day shipping, mine was delayed. This makes absolutely no sense to me. If I'm guaranteed to get it on release day, why would I pay extra for 1 day shipping? Anyway, I was supposed to get it today and it is now 8:30. I have no game and my delivery date has changed again.

I like physical copies because I can take it to friend's houses who don't have it. Also like the ability to resell.

I know this isn't mut discussion, but I have seen other threads in this sub forum about Amazon pre-orders and figured it would get more replies here. I preordered the standard edition weeks ago. I got an email saying that I was getting release day delivery and that it would be delivered on August 10th. It still hasn't shipped and now it's telling me it won't arrive until Tuesday. Is anyone else's Amazon preorder being delayed? I'm thinking of canceling the order. What is the point of preordering if you don't receive until 4 days after it's released?!

Did anyone else pre-order the standard edition through Amazon? I preordered weeks ago and got an email stating that I would receive on release day. Long story short, I didn't play madden 18, so I haven't played Longshot. I preordered 19 and thought about checking out Longshot 2. May be a silly question, but without giving away any spoilers, can someone tell me if I will be completely lost starting on Longshot 2?

The player packs would be the loyalty packs for playing 16 and 17, right? Then choose the pre-order elite?

Is there a certain order I should claim these rewards? I seem to recall some conversations about how it would be better to claim rewards in a certain order so as to not end up with players in the same positions
