Still broke. Really amazing that EA can be this incompetent. If you have any outstanding pre-orders or EA Play subs...you know what to do. Cancelled mine this morning with a message explaining that M23 SB being down for over a week (along with all of the other missing rewards) is specifically the reason. Not that my drop in the bucket will make any difference, but it's the only voice we have right now.

I'm not even touching the NHHM or Legends challenges while waiting to see what they do with SB, since if it turns out to be conveniently 'fixed' Monday that's my personal limit for service problems with this game anyway. Missing rewards are one thing and I've have had multiple problems with those too this year that I'll never get, but an unplayable game mode for a week is over the line. About to bump it up from #packstrike to #EAstrike mode and take a long break from giving EA any $ at all. It's frustrating because I don't just regret buying M23 now, more than that I regret all the time I put into it only to find out with everyone else how mind-numbingly broken it is.

It is kind of wild that the server maintenance this morning didn't fix it. Was hoping that would do it. Down to the last ~24 hours of being able to complete this week even if they do fix it. But I suspect gbwisc is right that they'll leave it disabled until Monday to gatekeep the Tom Compton reward, as wacky and weaselly as that is by EA.

Glad to see quite a few other greybeard MUT players here. Seasons with H2H tries to kind of emulate a NFL team season with a group of other players, where you try to get the most wins and get more rewards the more wins you get. Cheesing tends to increase as you get higher in the win count for the season as bigger rewards are on the line, with a Super Bowl for the top teams at the end. House rules are shorter games with funky rules (ex. score 3 points for an int), and goes on total win count rather than getting the most wins within a season. The freeze glitch is still around, and is when an opponent is losing in H2H and will pause the game and sit there eternally, hoping that you give up waiting and quit despite being ahead to give them a win. in the meantime both of you are in limbo. Between this and cheesing that makes the game nothing remotely like live NFL, H2H can get pretty frustrating depending on the luck of the draw with opponents. H2H is pretty tough, people don't like to lose and some will go to really annoying lengths to get a win any way they can.. But that's also why H2H has pretty good rewards (in theory, although it's 50/50 EA will actually give you the rewards with all the game problems right now), and at it's best it is really fun.

Also think it's funny that I've seen screenshots of players with EA support where they say they are aware Solo Battles are down and 'working on it', yet they have not put out anything publicly saying it's an issue or that they're working on it. And GMM won't even mention it. Was the same situation with the missing CH OVR 87 tier 5 reward, screenshots of support chats admitting it is a known issue but no statements or updates. They brushed it under the rug and we're still waiting on that from over 3 weeks ago. Maybe they'll say something about Solo Battles before Christmas.

The term 'unplayable' is often overused when games have bugs. But EA has really outdone themselves this year. The core game function of MUT is playing games, collecting cards, and completing challenges for rewards. Let's see... Games - Literally can't even play SB since it's disabled. Rewards - Where to start; H2H, Draft, Campus Heroes, etc. (and quite an achievement with such few code changes from M22) Collecting cards - Not easy with sets that gave errors for weeks when trying to complete them, and so many missing rewards. So it's rare and a high bar, but in this case I think unplayable actually applies. And if SB was disabled mid-run just to gatekeep solo players from getting to 200 CP for the OVR 89 (in order to indirectly nudge more store sales due to #packstrike), that's truly weaselly af.

I wouldn't hold your breath, never got my Campus Hero 87 OVR from over 3 weeks ago, who would have helped then but wouldn't even start now as long as it's been. Posted a message asking about it to EA. they quickly deleted it (lol). I've given up on ever seeing that. Didn't get my H2H cards either last week. Now EA solo battle shenanigans. I was already in more than #packstrike mode, since I usually spend a fair amount of $ in mut but haven't bought 1 point and won't this year. Decided that after the 2nd week EA of not addressing the missing CH card. Now just seeing how far I can get playing free this year. And about 1 more unplayable mode or missing reward and it's going on the shelf.

It has been one of the buggier Madden releases for sure. Graphical glitches galore in the UI. Solo Battle rewards not working. I have also purchased and been charged for packs in the store and had them simply not show up. Yuck. Quality control EA?
