Do they come out with power up passes that will be able to replace the Ultimate Kickoff? I'll never be able to afford that card, so wondering if I should just sell it.

I just cheese the CPU running mid blitz 100% of the time and levels 100% of the time on offense with HB hot route to a swing. dump off or TE is open almost every play. Every now and again the deep route is uncovered and you can pick up a massive gain. Madden still finds ways to cause my RB to run backwards after a catch, or has some 74 spd LB teleport my routes, but it seems to work well most of the time. It's a damn shame, because the first game I played after installing I was grinning ear to ear with how amazing the game was on all-pro, but the nonsense they make you go through in MUT just takes all the joy away. I guess this is how EA wants us to play the game: Find the best exploits to join the Top 100 QA Testers.

Quote from LuckyLindy84 >> I kinda like it honestly. Makes the solos very challenging and hard. It's supposed to be a grind. Quote from dadawg1005 >> Nah I like the challenge! There's a difference between a challenge/grind and having to exploit weaknesses in the AI via cheese plays. I'm not for a second asking them to make it easier. I just want my WR who has 3 steps on his CB to continue to have 3 steps on him when the ball gets there, and I don't want my QB to randomly fire a pass in the heart of a linebacker 10 yards to the left of his trajectory.

And it continues. You make my 90 throw power quarterback underthrow streak routes to randy moss where I'm leading out in front of him, so that level 75 corner backs can run up and intercept the pass every time. Your game balancing on this difficulty is putrid. If you have to cheese the game with 8 different pre-snap hot reads, it isn't skill, it's an exploit.

For 2 decades the computer has had a ridiculous edge on All Madden. They aren't smarter, they aren't more precise, they just flat out cheat. Throwing bullet passes that are lasers on any other game mode to wide open players in the seam turn into pop flys is complete and utter horseshit. There's a reason that as long as madden has existed the community has always played on All-Pro difficulty, and now we're forced to play this garbage in online games. If you can't balance the difficulty without rubberbanding, then just be honest about the nerfs our players get and give us in game huds to let us know who's nerfed and how. It's absolutely ridiculous to throw a slant route 5 yards behind a wide open target directly into the defender's hands with 87-89 QBs with accuracy approaching 90 standing still int he pocket. Just stop it. To combat this I usually just try to chew clock from the start of the game and hope I can win 7-0. It's really fun.

Quote from Staubach12 >> Animations have a factor in how cards play Are animation sets a player by player thing? Are there pros and cons to different sets that are known by the community?

Quote from usmcbooda >> In a way there are hidden stats, which are "traits" but there are cards that seem to play above their stats which with the way madden works could be many things such as strength, weight or speed. Bosa is a card that has always been known for playing exceptionally well for example. As for Neal many things come into play, did you compare his card to to Zach lines? Awareness, speed, run block stats? A slower blocker is going to be harder to not run into/overrun so maybe thats why you get the sticking to you effect, he will move even slower with his speed having more weight and less height for example. I used to have this issue last year with tosses or stretches, i'd have one person I needed to be blocked but the RG could not make it there fast enough and it id practically run into that one person or they'd get to me and ignore him because he couldnt get out in front in time,

I got a screaming deal on an 88 Lorenzo Neal I was planning to flip, but I figured I'd try him out for a couple days just to see if I should keep him since my FB was a 79 Zach Line. Shockingly, he was absolutely horrible against pro-level solo challenge CPU players. Every outside run he'd stay glued to me until the last minute while the d line would collapse on me leading to the first couple of negative runs I've had since day 1, and never letting me break through for the massive gains I'm used to against low level competition. Meanwhile my lowly 79 Zach Line runs ahead and paves the way, moving upfield and ensuring blocks are engaged so i can sprint through. Has anyone else noticed "better" players performing strangely or worse than inferior talent? Are there things that I'm not seeing in the stats to indicate what could happen here or is there some secret sauce that we don't have access to that makes some people better/different than others even at equal rating?

Also just pulled an 88 Deandre Hopkins out of a Gauntlet pack, so same question :)

Wondering what the general approach is for NMS players who pull good cards. I'm effectively trying to be NMS, but I dropped $5 day 1 to get Hill and the 150 pt elite pack. I just pulled a 86 Gerald McCoy out of a gold pack, who becomes my best player after the 87 campaign guys. Do you guys think it's better to keep those players, as they're hard to come by NMS, or am I better off building up my coins for future needs?
