The Patriots can win games without Brady.. that is a fact. It has been proven. It's undeniable..
But let's not act like Brady doesn't deserve credit for what he does. When Jacoby Brissett was playing, he barely threw for 100 yards in his first start, and barely threw for 200 yards in his second start.. both games produced ZERO tds.
When Matt Cassell led the team to an 10-5 record (as a starter) they still missed the playoffs. He produced 21 TDs and 11 INTs that season... The last time Brady threw for less than 21 TDs was all the way back in 2001... his first year as the full time starter.
Jimmy Garoppolo played decent in his two starts for New England.. but guess what? He's 5-0 with the San Francisco 49ers in a completely different offense and coaching staff... so maybe he's just actually a good QB?
The point I'm making is that Belichick is indeed the best at what he does.. but he's not the sole reason for Brady's success as a Quarterback. That system is pretty great in that they can win in any type of situation.. and mediocre QBs could win games with Belichick as the HC.. but they aren't winning those games with the same strategies and throws and playcalls that Brady makes. There's a system in place and Brady runs it like no other.
