Thoughts on using a mobile QB (improvisor/scrambler) vs a pocket QB in Madden 20
So there are always people that will love to run around with their QB, that's just the people who prefer their game to be more like an arcade game than a sim...but IMO the reasons people like me who are more football purists and prefer realism end up going after these types of mobile QB's are:
1) No matter how good your O Line is (and with chems and PU's my O line averages over 96) blockshed animations are random and crazy - so you need to buy time
2) There are glitchy setups that trick the AI no matter how high the awareness on your linemen are (overload one side and hover or any one of a dozen ways to do this) - again, you need to buy time
3) The glitchy routes, the "beaters"....most take time to develop because no one has the patience to use the short passing game anymore , they use these youtube plays where you have to wait for the receiver to "clear" and the defender to get glitched out.
4) Those short routes....there are enforcers that come up with hit sticks immediately so people don't want to throw those quick hitters because there's Tillman or Jamal as a SubLB popping you and causing a fumble.
