Explain Logic of Escape Artist
The idea behind it I believe is to get you to spend money or more money on a card for it to do something it should already be able to do. Like in the earlier maddens if you chose a really fast qb you could run around and evade back there well now you have to pay 1500 training to do that.
I wondered about this.
I use 30/30 Brawler... But also have +1 SPD from Vikings chem.
I haven't attained the +1 Spd from Madden collectibles.
Could the Brawler chems -1 acc and agi be causing him to be slow? ?
There's something wrong with Cunningham's speed. I tried out jackson just to see if there was a difference because cunningham felt a lot slower than what I was expecting. Jackson seemed like the right speed. I went back to using young again. I wanted to use cunningham, but I'm convinced something is wrong with his speed. I used cunningham for about 5 days and tried to give him a chance.
TBH the qb mechanics in the pocket are absolutely awful. they are all so slow and cant slide in the pocket unless you have escape artist. i wish they would just make QBs act realistically.
Id like to use right stick to slide step in the pocket, and then when you hit RT to scramble it should be much more intuitive. This would be much better IMO.
It’s your Cunningham. Someone had him on a Dallas team and burned me play after play. He was shifting around better than Barry Sanders out there and ran like he had 110 speed. It was ridiculous.
Yeah I hate the hidden equalizer. I get so tired of really slow players being glued to far faster players, catching them from behind etc. IDC how unbalanced it makes the game they need to get rid of that shit. The difference in speed should be clear same as it should be with some other stats that are clearly equalized.
Only scrambling quarterbacks should get escape artist. It’s bull crap that much has it lmao

Put it on Steve Young or Luck, and they turn into Michael Vick.
Put it on Cunningham, and he still cannot outrun most DL behind the line.
Playes someone last night using Luck, and had it on. He was insane. So fast. So shifty. I swore it was Lamar Jackson.
EA really screwed Cunningham bad. I just took Escape Artist off him to try it out. Without it, he is not an 92 SPD.... Behind the line his speed was on par with a mid 70s Speed. EvenEif you tap L2 and turn into a runner. Unreal. Even with escape artist on him.... he's not much faster.
