You have to receive the ball first, as soon as the opening kick off is over pause the game, go to depth chart and move your RB completely out of the lineup so he’s not RB 1 2 3 or 4 make sure he’s not in FB 1 2 or 3 then go take him out of the line up completely at KR and PR then unpause then just sub you HB with Return Man in. I have no clue why but the game doesn’t register that the opening kickoff is over you will lose the ability after halftime but you basically now have human joystick 🕹 on a running back for the first half.
