How GTs should have be handled.
Someone elsewhere had the idea to make them like presents that open up later. I like that, but it would still cause a server crash the moment they are openable. Instead of basing odds on who’s opening at the start, EA should do a random selection of everyone who has a token (present) in their binder and assign the GTs before they are openable. That way it doesn’t matter if you’re first in.
Idk how I feel about the solos, it was just lame to see number 4/5 pulled on Xbox less than 15 minutes after people could actually start playing. If solos is the route they wanna go, drop the chance to pull these significantly and leave them open for a few hours. Let us grind the same solo over and over, with a chance to pull it each time. At least when they were in packs I had more than 1 chance to pull a GT. Wouldn't hurt to have someone keeping us up to date with GTs being pulled either.
Don’t make it for the first 10 people to get it. That would just be rewarding people that have no life or jobs.
I like the idea of grinding to get it, so that’s a good idea. All in all, it’s been disappointing for a couple weeks as a Madden fan. First the combine promo which was an utter disaster. And now this. Just gotta remain positive I guess. I’d be even more pissed if I actually put money into the game and bought packs.
There are 2 options here. I like the solos idea because people who don’t shell out money for packs get a chance but y’all did it wrong EA. Option 1: Have the solos but you get a candy bar alla Willy wonka reference, and it works kinda like a present or Easter egg then on Friday you do the solos get your candy bars then Sunday those candy bars go into a set 6 chances to pull one of the 10 GTs out of a ticket pack. Option 2: Keep it in solos but you have to get 500 stars in the solos first 10 people on both consoles get the GT make it a grind so at least us die hards that play your game a lot but don’t stream or anything have a chance.
But that’s all just wishful thinking we all know you just gave the GTs away to certain people sus AF EA, you can piss on me but don’t tell me it’s rain.
