Aggressive Catch is broken
16 it was way too much, they nerfed it to the point it doesn’t exist
True if you run away from the ball then dart back to it sometimes it’ll let you win the deep ball. This is only because the dumb physiques in the game
Jump matters too, plus height. I've found that agg catch works well horizontally you can lead with it nicely even in tight areas.
Aggressive catch hasn’t worked all season. The only one it works for it seems is triple covered Moss when he’s activated.
I have streak specialist on fully powered up Megatron and dude never wins jump balls. Last night Deion one hand picked a one on one jump ball against him. EA has no fucking clue what balance is. Its either broken one way or the other.
Or how about you don't throw to WRs that are obviously covered

Kyle Rudolph one on one with a CB is not covered 9/10 times it should be a jump ball win for the 6’6 TE alla saints Vikings playoff game but in madden the receiver will never win the jump ball if not X-factored its a joke

Ok stop being an idiotic troll and use all one of your brain cells. I never said he should catch it all the time but if I’m in the red zone and throw a jump ball to a 6’6 player or a jump ball archetype player covered by a 5’10 player the 6’6 player should win in a 1 on 1 situation but the offensive player doesn’t jump ever the defenders always win .
Yeah it doesn’t help that they can hit stick you while the ball is in the air and get no penalty. Pretty much the ONLY effective catch is Possession and even then, it gets dropped 80% of the time.
And EA wonders why the community chooses to play 15, 16, 17, and 18 because while they aren’t perfect at least basic football is some what applied
50/50 balls are more like 90/10 balls in favor of the defense lol. It does need fixed.
So I know in maddens past Agro catching was overpowered but they’ve completely made in non functioning in 20. I’m throwing one on one fade routes while holding LB to get the jump ball and WRs refuse to jump they just stand there and get Mossed by the DB, passing is already a non factor in 20 this just kills it more so. Literally the DBs are getting fade catch animation and WRs are just running down field lost like Billy Bob in varsity blues.
