This game is a joke
I won a game yesterday when I guy caught my punt on the edge of endzone and went out of bounds through the pylon and I got two points and the ball back.
One thing I don't get is not fixed yet is the intentional grounding when the ball doesn't cross the line of scrimmage.
S*** Happens lol, this has happened to me several times this year, also running for a 1st down and got pushed back and suddenly its 4th and 2.
But it is funny that the rules seem to work correctly when the AI is in control lol.
But this is madden, you just put up with it, or dont play, it, people should know by now, madden isnt perfect.

I love how EA just interprets their own rules into an NFL licensed game... I literally just lost a game because the AI got the game winning pick but came down with it stumbled because the WR tried to tackle him when into the end zone for a safety and I lose by 1... last I checked EA if a player is pushed into the end zone after either an interception or fumbles recovery they are ruled down from where they were pushed... And if player picks off a pass and their momentum carries them into the end zone it’s ruled a touchback... But hey fuck it EA do whatever you like keep cutting corners and making the NFL look like trash we’ll see how much longer you keep the NFL license
