Is there a way to set a qb spy with a lineman while usering a LB?
On xbox you double click left on the d pad then pick which linemen you want the hit the spy button. You dont actually have to switch to that player, but you will have to do it every snap.
I think op might be talking about double tapping a button to select a defender and adjust them instead of clicking onto them pre snap.
Yes you can. You have to do it every play as one of your ore snap adjustments. Are you on PS4 or Xbox?

I may have misread your question. If you’re asking if you can set the soy for the entire game, I don’t think so. If you’re asking if you can set the spy while remaining on the MLB you’re ushering, then yes. But you do have to do it every play. I’m sure someone on here can tell you Xbox, but I know it’s possible. On PS4, you tap the left d-pad twice, then you select your lineman with one of the buttons and then you right stick for QB spy. I know that isn’t extremely helpful for you since it’s not Xbox, but the point is, you can do it.
As the title says. I could swear people do this, unless they’re just picking a qb spy play every play?
