Definitive NTL Set Question Thread

So I know I've seen this discussed, but I just want to get some answers here. I've already done the sets for Hearst, Mays, NNamdi, and that safety. Tomorrow I should have around half a mill and I'm thinking about doing the rest to get NTL. To those that have done the set, what is the most economically efficient way to complete the set? I see people say combinations of sniping and rerolling the training thing from the store. Also people differ on whether to sell the TDs or quicksell them and do more rerolls. Thanks to any and all who can provide some answers here I know I'm not the only one on the fence about whether or not to risk the coinstack on this set

Which reroll pack are you all talking about???

Dislimb420

Reroll pack is the move. Start with around 100k training and do the reroll pack until you’re out of training. Sell any doubles on the AH and buy more training and keep doing the reroll pack. When you’re only a few cards away from a set, buy them off the AH and complete the set. QS the 95s for training (with a few exceptions) and go back to doing the reroll pack. Once you have roughly 20 or so sets complete, you can stick to just buying the cards you need from the AH and then selling the 95s on the AH after to supplement the cost of the next set. It’s tedious as hell, but is guaranteed profit if you do it the right way.

QS the ones that wont sell for at least 200k. Rerolls will work...just keep at it and do 15, 20 in a row until you notice you are up around 5-10k in training. Keep your best 20 on the auction and be patient.

You will feel behind until almost the end because you have so many cards in incomplete sets. Once you get to the last few you will be ahead considerably and end with several 95s and NTL

So do I just buy a bunch of training tomorrow and start ripping that pack? Or do I start by trying to buy a set and just going from there

MaddenMobile2121

I sniped my way there, to each their own, you should make profit regardless

Megells

But how does one make profit? It seems like each costs well over 150k to make, and the cards are going for less. How does one go through these while making profit? Thank you for the response it is appreciated!

The most profit for doing this entire set comes from the pulls of the pack and all the cards you are getting that are for the completed sets you had already done. If you get those top cards a few times and all the lower cards you easily exceed the say 150K net you would receive by selling them on the AH. Instead you are QS for training and more times than not getting far better return not he lower cards you end up selling. When I was doing it I ended up breaking even on sells of cards to the QS card I had and the rest of the cards fueled my other sets. In the end it became profitable and I still kept NTL and had a couple TD I wanted to keep

MaddenMobile2121

The profit comes from selling NTL or getting him at a reduced cost. In total, I made about 1 mill, but this was before Waller FO skyrocketed in price, and that’s the only card I can think off of the top of my head that did.

I actually profited roughly 500k while keeping NTL and Erik Williams.

Same I kept NTL and had enough coin from it to get all the team builders for my Cowboys team. Totally worth it.

Solder jumped also.
