How old is the code for Madden?

I've heard various answers. Some say that it's from 2006, my opinion it's the same code as 13. Does anyone have any ideas? Links, please? Thanks community

That's really hard to say as it's almost certainly been built on iteratively for many, many years. The Frostbite engine was new for Madden '18,  but I guarantee that much of the C++ code on the back end has been around for at least since '13.

I mean, watch this clip from Madden '08 for the PS3... of course the graphics have changed/improved, but it's essentially the same underlying mechanics of a game today in Madden '19.

Totally agree.   The only differences are the graphics, 4K Resolution, Rosters, Sidelines, Fans and No more Ghosting of players.   Thankfully they at EA are savvy enough to improve on sound,  no more idiot "Radio Guy" and no more goofy "Create a Fan"   OH, and no more cardboard box cutouts of #99 all identical on the sidelines  LOL

I think I heard the vikings stole it from monks in Winchester England. The reason they stopped raiding was cos they worked out they could make more money from MUT. The rest is history.

how much code from windows 7 is in windows 10?

see you are shitting on EA but you should be shitting on every piece of shit software/os put out in the past two decades.

EA sucks balls. but so does everyone else so the scope of your point is misguided

For several years now, the Cowboys unis will be light for home and away for the first month after launch.....then they patch the mistake.  Every year.  That is for a simple thing that they ultimately correct.  They just keep recycling the same broken stuff.
